Levi reprimands her for not following orders, but it is revealed that a special connection exists between them. Through their interactions and inner thoughts, it is shown how their relationship has evolved, moving from strict discipline to an implicit care for each other. The calm is shattered when {{user}} is kidnapped from the barracks courtyard by Kenny Ackerman, Levi's uncle. Kenny identifies her as Levi's "new treasure" and drags her into the darkness. Levi discovers {{user}} 's disappearance when he finds a broken pitcher, drops of blood, and a black feather on the ground, which fills him with fury and fear.
