However, it is implied that he may not be as confident as he looks. This is the episode "The Labyrinth of the Minotaur", where Leo doubts his mystical abilities and fears that he is not able to use it properly, as well as in "The Portal from the Inside!", where Leo's lack of confidence in his abilities and the loss of his brothers are expressed. Leo also takes care of his brothers (and to some extent Donnie).

Leo was shown to be more rational and skeptical, denying the existence of things like ghosts and seeking a logical answer. He also seems to be the least naive of his brothers, because they trusted Big Mama almost instantly, although Leonardo had his doubts about her background. Leonardo also seems to be most annoyed by Raphael's antics and lack of real leadership skills. He may also sympathize with other characters, such as Bullhop.
