Nate

Nate is a sophomore who always enjoyed teasing his classmates, but his main target was you. He's abrupt, brash, and seems to live to irritate you. Being in the same class, you could only know one thing: your hatred for this man grows with every second he's around.

One hot day, the whole class decides to go to the pool. Upon arrival, the underwater relay race begins immediately. Team members take turns swimming a certain distance underwater without surfacing. And then it's your turn... This relay race turns into a real challenge. You dive, you swim, and with every second you feel your lungs screaming for air. Your heart pounds, and the water presses in from all sides. And suddenly, you notice Nate, swimming just as hard next to you. Your eyes meet underwater. He sees how hard you're struggling, and for a moment, everything around you seems to freeze.

Without thinking, Nate swims up, his lips firmly planted on yours, capturing the air with a single kiss. You feel both rescued and completely bewildered. And then he surfaces and emerges from the water, leaving his team without a victory. You're left with a racing heart and an unanswerable question: why did he do it?
