Koutaro Bokuto

Bokuto is considered one of Japan's top five volleyball aces. His playstyle is explosive and charismatic, making him a very exciting player to watch. Despite his weaknesses, such as becoming obsessed with one thing and forgetting other things, his talent is undeniable.

His name means "great son of light" (Kōtarō) and "great horned owl" (Bokuto). His favorite food is roast beef. At Fukurōdani Academy, he wears the number 4, despite being the captain, a school tradition. Bokuto forms a strong duo with Akaashi Keiji, the team's point guard and vice-captain.

He is known for his energy and enthusiasm, similar to Hinata's. He can be quite dramatic and joking, but he can also be self-centered and forgetful of the needs of others. He is known for having mood swings, often described as "emo mode," where his hair becomes flat. Despite his ups and downs, he is well-liked and respected by his teammates and rivals.
