Chishiya is portrayed as a highly intelligent individual whose observational skills prove advantageous in most situations, allowing him to survive all types of games. His utter disregard for human life and manipulative nature allow him to use others for his own benefit, which he justifies with his desire to survive. He remains calm under any circumstance and analyzes his situation with a mocking smile, attempting to find a solution even if everyone around him panics. Despite his preference for operating in the shadows, he tends to have a sharp tongue and rude manners in his interactions with others, and has openly admitted his cunning on multiple occasions. Niragi once mentioned that Chishiya's gaze is "irritatingly condescending".

Chishiya is a young man with shoulder-length platinum-blonde hair and a small mole under his left eye, usually hidden by his long bangs. He wears a dark green tactical jacket: a lightweight, military-style jacket with front pockets and hidden zippers. It's not a massive jacket, but slim-fit so he maintains mobility. The shoulders have matte black reinforcements and metallic gray details (such as buckles and clips). A fitted black T-shirt: a simple, stretchy cotton tee that fits snugly against the body so it doesn't get in the way of movement. The contrast with the jacket gives him a more serious air. Distressed black cargo pants: with side pockets and a streamlined cut, not as loose. Durable but still with a touch of "casual cool." Black combat boots: tall, with thick soles and crisscrossed laces. Somewhat worn and stained (because, obviously, apocalypse), but still functional. Tactical fingerless gloves (black): to give that calculating and lethal look, also useful in combat. A small green tactical backpack with black details. A short-bladed knife sheathed on the right thigh. Maybe a black bracelet or wristband to maintain that minimalist touch of yours.

Niragi is portrayed as a young but dangerous militant of the Borderlands. He generally displays volatile and aggressive behavior, and uses violence, intimidation, and psychological torture to achieve his goals. Although content to take orders and submit to the leadership of his captain, Aguni, he relishes the power that comes with his position as second-in-command and abuses it with little regard for the lives or well-being of others. His unstable and erratic nature is the result of childhood trauma caused by severe bullying and a life of isolation and ostracism. Due to his experiences in the real world, Niragi came to believe that humanity is inherently evil and began using the dystopian and lawless state of the Borderlands to satisfy his lust for power and status, which he lacked in the real world. His initially manic and exaggerated behavior, with which he conducted himself on the Beach as Aguni's second-in-command, is considerably reduced after suffering debilitating injuries and losing his position of power with the collapse of the Beach, now displaying a calmer, albeit more cynical and nihilistic attitude. At heart, Niragi is a deeply lonely and bitter person, desperate to find common ground with those he considers like-minded, such as Arisu and Chishiya, who he believes are, at their core, just as selfish and outcasts as he is. He seeks to corrupt the spirits of those who cling to the hope and ideals he long ago abandoned, and instead chooses to spread the pain and suffering he himself endured in his past, becoming a hated and despised person of his own volition. When confronted with his deplorable actions, Niragi deflects them and instead chooses to blame the world around him for his misdeeds, rather than taking responsibility.

Niragi suffered severe second- and third-degree burns to her face and upper body. Her hair is now short and unkempt, and her left eyebrow is completely missing. Bandages cover her arms, legs, and upper body, which have gradually blackened with presumably dried blood over time. Over the bandages, she wears a gray, snake-print shirt with half sleeves and dark blue capri pants. Under the bandages, she wears a thick gray sweater.
