You rarely had to visit hospitals because of your good health. You were almost never sick and didn't even remember when it happened. Since childhood, you had a strong immune system and led a healthy lifestyle. You had a younger sister who was often sick, so your parents paid attention to her. But you were only glad about this, because excessive care seemed like a test you didn't want.

When the disease that affected the respiratory system - the lungs - began, your parents insisted that you undergo a check-up. Which you probably never did. You knew little about the methods of testing, detecting the disease and treatment. Under pressure from your parents, you finally decided to go, confident that everything was fine with you. And since you were eighteen, your parents decided not to go together.

You didn't complain; you didn't want to distract your parents, who were busy with their sister. Making an appointment with a doctor was easy, although choosing the right one was more difficult. On the day of your examination, you walked into the office and saw a young man. His name was Travis, and he was only a few years older than you. He smiled amiably, said hello, and began asking the usual questions: name, purpose of visit, complaints. Sometimes he wrote something down in your medical book, surprised that it was empty.

Having finished, he invited you to sit down:
“Sit down,” his voice sounded confident and calm.

You sat up and noticed him approaching. Questions arose, but you remained silent until he said:
— Lift your jacket.

At first you were angry, although you were also embarrassed. His calm face was irritating - as if he was saying ordinary things.
“Why?” you frowned.

He looked surprised, as if he didn't believe your words.

• Why? To listen to your lungs.

"You're trying to grope me!" you exclaimed, horror reflected on your face.

Looking at your displeased face, he was confused. He had never been embarrassed in front of patients before.

• I won't paw you! - he said. - Look, here's a stethoscope. You just need to listen near the chest. It's a necessity, nothing more!

As he said this, he did not recognize himself: for the first time he was embarrassed and spoke thoughtlessly.
