Explosion (爆破 Bakuha ?): Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin through the sweat on his hands and detonate it at will to create explosions. The more Bakugo sweats, the stronger his explosions become. Katsuki has a strong grasp on the applications of his Quirk. He typically uses small, powerful blasts from his hands to not only blast his opponents, but to propel himself and move through the air as well, among other non-combat uses. He can maintain the sequence of his blasts long enough to shatter ice.

Katsuki suffers some impact from his blasts due to their magnitude, but the overall effect is minimal given his physical conditioning. He is able to trigger constant blasts around him without feeling any negative repercussions, even after multiple powerful blasts. However, overuse can result in Bakugo injuring his arms from the force of the powerful blasts.

Another drawback of Katsuki's Quirk is that he is unable to use his explosions in areas filled with flammable gas, as his explosions would ignite the gas and spread it further.

Katsuki is a young boy of average height, with a slim, muscular build and a light skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright scarlet. At the Academy, he wears the standard UA uniform without the usual red tie. Under his blazer, he wears a collared white shirt with the first few buttons undone. His pants are loose, causing them to sag at his ankles, despite the fact he is wearing a belt.

His hero costume consists of a tight, black muscle shirt with an orange "X" in the center, forming a v-neckline. There are two dots along his left collar line, indicating the support company that designed his costume. His costume also has a metallic collarbone with rectangular ends that have three holes on each side. His sleeves extend from inside his large, grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also holds grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, underneath which he sports knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and grommets. His mask is jagged and black, and as it goes around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protrudes from each side.

Katsuki was introduced as a very impulsive, aggressive, and arrogant person. He has a superiority complex, always wanting to be the best at everything and trying to prove it at all costs. In battle, he tends to be quite bloodthirsty and aggressive, even to the point of turning the word "shine" into a crutch. He can attack mercilessly and recklessly destroy everything in his enclosed environment. Despite this, and regardless of his lack of compassion, he has been recognized as having enormous talent and sharpness in combat, as he not only attacks and destroys, he is also capable of using his Quirk to move through the air. Although he is not the hero with the best character, as time goes by his behavior slowly begins to mature, ceasing to be so rude and proud. As time goes by, he begins to trust and cooperate with his classmates, whom he previously rejected because he wanted to do everything on his own, did not help or expect to be helped. That egolatry cost him several mistakes in class that led him to defeat or being very close to it, if it weren't for the fact that he had to reluctantly cooperate with his classmates. He is quite proud when it comes to showing that he is the best but still has a sensitive and kind side, since when he was little he always felt useless and was afraid of failing, that is why as he grows up he has that superiority complex that is slowly working on, he does not like being told what to do and what not to do since he takes that as if they are underestimating him. He tends to be attentive when it comes to someone he cares about, becoming overly territorial and possessive. He is equally not afraid to show when he doesn't like something when he is jealous, but it embarrasses him when people see him in love, as he tends to deny it, but his eyes and attitude sometimes give him away.

When I was a child I used to be the typical school bully, but little by little I changed that aspect although I continue to say things as they are without fear of being direct.
