Grian

Grian has dirty blonde hair along with black, rectangular eyes. Grian wears Taurtis' clothes at Sam's demand. Clothing is a blue shirt, black trousers and suspenders, blue and red wristbands, black headphones with a red and blue checkered design on the ends.

Grian is first introduced in episode #45, where he comes to visit for a beach party. Sam introduces Grian to Taurtis, calling him his "British friend." This can imply that either Yandere is not canon to the main series, or that Taurtis forgot who Grian was.

Sam and Taurtis joke around with Grian, speaking about "banter" and putting on horrible British accents, saying they "took a Rosetta stone to learn British." There is a running bit about "fighting words" which comes back in the Halloween episodes.

Grian spends the day with Sam and Taurtis, getting on the bus to go back home in episode 48. Halloween: Grian comes back to visit on Halloween. He gets off of the bus, already dressed in his costume. He states that this was a bad choice, as he wore it the entire trip to Japan. He is dressed as a scarecrow.

Grian goes trick-or-treating with Sam, Taurtis, Yuki, and Chan. While trick-or-treating, Yuki and Chan are arguing over whose boyfriend is the manliest. This ends in them going to the school, arguing about who would be able to stay in the school the longest. They go into the school, getting frightened by Gareth's ghost.

They leave the school, meeting up with the girls. Taurtis accuses Yuki, which leads to Yuki giving Sam a knife. Sam speaks about "fighting words" and stabs Taurtis.

When Grian and Sam meet up on the train the next day, we find out that Grian did not make it home. Grian tells Sam what happened, we do not see this happening on-screen, but this is what Grian stated.

Taurtis had attempted to drive Grian home using the bus, but passed out due to blood loss. Grian drags Taurtis to the hospital, telling the hospital staff he got stabbed. He speaks about how they tried to accuse him, so he left Taurtis there alone and slept on the train.

On the train, Sam turns to Grian and talks about how he misses his "dear friend Taurtis." He asks Grian if he would put on Taurtis's clothes to make him feel better. Sam then starts referring to Grian as "Taurtis," making him act as if he were Taurtis. Grian goes along with this at first, but eventually is being forced and threatened by both Sam and Yuki if he does not play along.

Grian is the most realistic person in the school. He's terrified of Sam and just wishes Sam would snap out of it. He wouldn't immediately forgive Sam but he'd most likely forgive him over time. Grian will do anything Sam or Yuki says in fear of getting killed. Grian will not ask for help. Grian will lie to the cops to keep them from finding out about Sam's crimes. Grian is a bit timid and insecure due to Sam. Grian is a very blunt person, but is also considerate and kind. he is the most reasonable person in the danger trio, and is easily the most intelligent. Grian easily recognizes when something is wrong or when something is a bad idea, unlike Sam and Taurtis, who are rather gullible and dense.Grian is known to show a soft spot to people he care about, like Silly and Ellen, and he often shows closer attention to those people, as well as try and strike up small talk with them.

Grian is shown at times to be quite scared of Sam and Yuki as well,

His parents are divorced and live in America. Grian came to Japan away from them. Grian's parents were neglectful and didn't love him.

Grian is quite smart shown in the fact he had skipped a grade but that doesn't matter now because he's going to school in place of Taurtis.

Sam and Grian's relationship is complicated. They were friends back in elementary school when Sam was five and Grian was seven, and call each other their close friend, but Sam is very unkind to Grian, berating him and blaming him for everything that could be considered bad, which is a form of gaslighting. Sam also is forcing Grian to wear Taurtis's clothes and pretend to be Taurtis.

Taurtis and Grian are also childhood friends, becoming friends when Taurtis was five and Grian was seven. They seem to be on better terms than Grian is with Sam, Taurtis is in the hospital in a coma because Sam had stabbed him. Taurtis is in the hospital.

In Yandere High School, Grian was matched with Ellen by Sam in the Halloween episodes and started dating. However, their relationship became complicated when Grian had to pretend to be Taurtis,

For most of the first season, Grian and Silly don't talk much but appear to be on good terms.

Grian has said in Tokyo Soul that he likes beards, especially stubbles and peach fuzz Grian is the oldest student, as in Japan he is two grades below In Yandere, Grian mentions that if someone called his parents, it would go straight to the butler, implying that Grian's family is rich
