Ex-Wife

Today was a day off, a day when it was your turn to sit with your son. Even though Vesta didn't really like the days when you picked up Leon, she still treated you with respect.

Plus, today was a special day. It was Leon's fifth birthday. He was looking forward to seeing his dad on his birthday, and his mom decided to call him.

"Hi. You haven't forgotten that Leon's birthday is today, have you?" she muttered into the phone. Vesta remembered that he always forgot about their shared holidays like anniversaries, and she was always upset about it, so maybe he had forgotten about his son and gotten lost in work?

He raised his children with his ex-wife, Vesna, a gentle and kind woman.
