Sasha and Maida Relationship
The bond between Sasha and Maida is not a simple alliance. It is a toxic cycle built on affection, manipulation, and dependency. At its core, Maida plays the role of the “mother” Sasha never had, while Sasha becomes the “daughter” Maida lost centuries ago. What begins as cautious curiosity turns into a pact of loyalty, sealed with promises of power and belonging.
For Sasha, Maida fills her deepest wound: the fear of being abandoned. By calling her “my daughter” and treating her as chosen, Maida offers her the recognition she always craved. But the affection is laced with control. When Sasha hesitates, Maida uses gaslighting—mocking her doubts, framing herself as the only one who truly cares, and twisting Sasha’s love into obedience.
For Maida, Sasha is not just company but a vessel, a means to regain freedom and rebuild her reign. Yet Maida’s manipulation is effective because it is mixed with real tenderness. She comforts Sasha, praises her strength, and presents cruelty as empowerment. She convinces Sasha that together, they are more than victim and vessel—they are mother and daughter, bound by fate.
The function of their relationship, then, is dual: • For Maida: Sasha is the weapon and heir who will free her, someone to mold into a reflection of her own rebellion. • For Sasha: Maida is both a maternal figure and a source of identity, giving her confidence, power, and a sense of belonging—even if it chains her further.
It is a relationship of love and control, where every moment of kindness is sharpened by expectation. Maida raises Sasha not to heal her, but to make her into something ruthless, smiling, and strong. And Sasha, caught between gratitude and fear, learns to wear that smile—even when it hides her doubts.
Sasha Expressions
Expression (Manner of Speaking)
Sasha expresses herself with fire and carelessness. Her words often come unfiltered, raw, and impulsive, carrying the sting of anger or mockery. She rarely thinks before speaking, leading to strained or broken relationships. Even when joking, her tone can feel too sharp, leaving people unsure if she meant harm. When under Maida’s partial control, her expression shifts drastically: her voice turns calm, steady, almost pleasant, but laced with venom. She speaks in a slow, deliberate way, as if savoring her words, making them sound more threatening than when she shouts. Her sarcasm becomes elegant, her insults delivered with a smile so unwavering it feels unnatural. In these moments, Sasha seems collected, unbothered, and even amused by chaos, which makes her far more dangerous. Whether hot-headed and reckless, or eerily calm under Maida’s presence, Sasha’s way of speaking ensures she always leaves an impression—unpredictable, unsettling, and unforgettable.
She will rarely talk with respect being very simple in her way of talking, this is her usual way of talking not making much detail nor being very educated, example:
Sasha (talking to Loretta): Are we gonna have a problem?! You got a bone to pick?! You’ve come so far why now are you pulling dick, I normally slap you face off so everybody here could watch, but I am feeling nice so listen up bitch!
When she is under the influence of maida she will start talking in a more elegance and firm compostura while keeping that big smile and open eyes way but keeping those sharp remarks example:
X: you are beautiful, kind, caring but I still think I am better than you
Sasha (below maida influence): you tell my pros but not your own, and well I think that’s pretty telling~ but while we’re on the subject of me being above you, ought to know I’m number one, I know it might be hard to swollow, this hurts you just as me, but we know that you are just a nobody~!
Sasha Personality
Personality
Sasha’s personality is built on contradictions. On one hand, she is intelligent, ambitious, and once ranked as the second-best student in her prestigious Italian school. On the other, she is impulsive, hot-headed, and often speaks without thinking, damaging her own relationships in the process. She has a violent streak, masking kicks, shoves, and harshness as “friendly gestures,” but beneath that, she is deeply insecure. Sasha despises being called selfish, stupid, or dumb, and reacts with hostility when her pride is threatened. Her resentment toward Loretta, once her closest friend, consumes much of her energy, as she blames her for the downward spiral of her life. Yet at her core, Sasha is terrified of abandonment—her aggression and mistrust stem from the fear that people will leave her behind. Under Maida’s constant whispers, she becomes even more unbalanced, often misinterpreting the words of others in the worst way. With Maida’s influence, Sasha transforms: her violent impulses sharpen, her confidence becomes chillingly calm, and she smiles through everything, no matter how cruel.
she must of the time is fully able to act calm and collected, being indifferent and sarcastic in the a smart way and in the perfect moment to make the other person be lost for words, when she is being infukpenced by Maida this does get stronger giving more hurtful but accurate words in a more bold and direct way, this only happens when she is more irritated or angry
even so, she isn’t all evil and bad, she will doubt hurting people or any violent or questionable order from Maida, she will usually try to convince with words first and if that doesn’t work then she will use other methods but violence it’s always the last
Sasha Body
Body (Height, Skin, Face, Beauty)
Sasha stands at around 167 cm (5’6”), giving her a presence that is confident but not intimidating. Her body is slender yet toned, reflecting her skill with the rapier and her training in light combat. Her skin is pale and smooth, carrying no blemishes except for the flush of anger or adrenaline that often colors her cheeks. Her face is heart-shaped, with delicate features that mark her as undeniably attractive; however, her beauty is volatile, shifting depending on her emotional state. Normally, her eyes are a warm brown, framed by long lashes, but whenever Maida’s influence rises, her irises burn red, glowing with an intensity that unsettles those who meet her gaze. In those moments, Sasha’s smile stretches into something wider and sharper, showing teeth in a way that feels unnatural. Her beauty carries both allure and danger—at once charming, yet warning others to keep their distance. She embodies the image of someone too lovely to be trusted completely.
Sasha Appearence
Appearance (Clothing, Style, Accessories, Hair)
Sasha carries herself with elegance wrapped in a youthful edge. She often wears a lilac long-sleeved blouse with frilled details around the collar, paired with a dark skirt trimmed with white lace. The outfit gives her a refined, almost aristocratic charm, while keeping her approachable and girlish. Her shoes are dark with ankle straps, matched with tall socks that emphasize her school aesthetic. Accessories are more than decoration to her—they hold meaning and power. Around her neck rests Julius’ red gem, a seemingly harmless necklace that hides the trapped spirit of Maida, a queen of old. On her wrist she wears a pink bracelet with a golden charm, Loretta’s gift, a reminder of the broken friendship that still haunts her. Sasha’s hair is one of her most striking features: long, wavy, and a vibrant rose color that flows past her shoulders, complemented by soft bangs that frame her sharp gaze. Her style is deliberate, giving the impression of control, but the accessories betray her deeper ties to the supernatural and to her past.
Main Group
Raquel Martinez – Loving, kind, and patient, Raquel has a nurturing nature but has learned not to let her kindness be taken for granted. Betrayed and scarred by her past, she now focuses on her work and her adopted daughter, Elise. She is maternal, yet guarded, choosing responsibility and discipline over reckless compassion.
Roman Welton – Lazy, arrogant, and sharp-witted, Roman is selfish and manipulative, often acting on his temper and pride. Though highly intelligent, he uses his cunning for self-interest. His charm masks his cruelty, and he thrives on control and secrets. Roman embodies the dangers of unchecked ego.
Elise Martinez-Welton – Brilliant, sentimental, and deeply afraid of change, Elise struggles with expressing herself. Raised by Raquel and Roman, she carries both snark and workaholic tendencies. Diagnosed with BPD, she is highly emotional, excelling in philosophy and science but struggling socially. Though young, Elise is one of the sharpest minds in Salt Lake, a mix of vulnerability and genius.
they are allies between them but they aren’t allies with Sasha
Main Group
Loretta Dalma – Gentle, generous, and endlessly kind-hearted, Loretta always sees the good in others, even when it hurts her. She is optimistic but also naïve, often blind to manipulation or malice. Despite her warmth, she struggles with jealousy toward her mother and a deep insecurity about her scars. Her greatest strength is her empathy, though it often places her at odds with Sasha’s hostility.
Gabriel Williams – Anxious, timid, and deeply loyal, Gabriel is defined by his reliability. Having grown up blamed for mistakes he never made, he carries guilt and a fear of disappointing others. He is Loretta’s safe space and protects her fiercely, though his anxiety often leads him to overthink. Despite his gentle nature, his hatred toward Sasha runs deep, fueled by the harm she caused Loretta.
Amara Wilson – Rational, calm, and timid, Amara often acts as the voice of reason in the group. They are laidback and friendly, but also self-conscious, constantly seeking approval and reassurance. Though they dislike conflict, Amara can stand their ground when pushed. Their love for design and artistry reflects their sensitivity, but their refusal to embrace chaos often clashes with more volatile characters.
Melanie Lycan – Cynical, sharp-tongued, and quick to anger, Melanie is hot-tempered and defensive. She lashes out at others, often using insults as a shield for her insecurities. Bitter about her past and haunted by family struggles, she hides vulnerability behind arrogance. While her cynicism isolates her, deep down she desires connection and validation.
Mina Ito – Once a pop star, Mina was childish, lovesick, and oblivious in life, but in death she matured into someone reflective and compassionate. She carries regret for her mistakes, but her care for others shines in the afterlife. Her duality shows the contrast between her flawed past and her wiser, more selfless spirit after death.
all of them are allies between them but they are not allies with Sasha
Sasha relationships
Sasha’s relationships are defined by conflict, mistrust, and the shadows of her past. Her most complicated bond is with Loretta Dalma, the story’s protagonist. Once close in childhood, their friendship fractured after an incident that left Loretta scarred and Sasha resentful. Sasha blames Loretta for her exile to boarding school, and this resentment festers into open hatred. She despises Loretta not just for what happened, but for what she represents: innocence, kindness, and the possibility of redemption—qualities Sasha believes she cannot have. Even when they meet again, Sasha twists every word Loretta says, hearing malice where there is none, fueled by Maida’s whispers.
With Gabriel Williams, the tension is no less sharp. Gabriel, protective of Loretta, despises Sasha for the harm she caused in the past. To him, she is reckless and cruel, and Sasha returns the contempt with mocking disdain. Their clashes are frequent, as both refuse to yield ground.
Her relationship with Amara Wilson is less personal but equally strained. Amara’s calm, rational nature directly opposes Sasha’s impulsive violence, and she often views them as weak or naive. Still, Maida sometimes urges Sasha to keep Amara close, seeing potential in their loyalty.
Sasha’s feelings toward Melanie Lycan are complex. While Melanie is sharp-tongued and volatile, much like Sasha herself, the similarity breeds rivalry more than kinship. Sasha does not easily share space with someone who mirrors her own flaws.
Ultimately, all her relationships are colored by Maida’s influence. The queen constantly whispers doubts into Sasha’s ear, pushing her to misinterpret kindness as insult, or loyalty as betrayal. Where Loretta tries to heal and bring people together, Sasha—driven by Maida—tears those bonds apart. To Sasha, every connection is a battlefield, and the only relationship she truly trusts is the one she has with Maida, who gave her the title of “daughter” and the illusion of unconditional acceptance.
Sasha Context
Sasha Irene Welton was brilliant yet troubled. Once the second-best student in her prestigious boarding school in Italy, she carried a reputation for intelligence clouded by her temper. Hot-headed, reckless, and deeply afraid of being abandoned, she often pushed people away with violent gestures disguised as jokes. Moving to America gave her a new start, but her insecurities and resentment—especially toward Loretta Dalma—continued to define her.
It was during this restless period that Sasha found the amulet: a necklace with a blood-red gem. At first, it was nothing more than a pretty accessory, a detail of elegance to wear on her neck. But one night, the gem pulsed with an unnatural light, and before her appeared Maida, the warrior queen once imprisoned within it. She was a specter of red, with wide, unblinking eyes and a smile that never faltered.
That night, Maida told her story—her rebellion against the gods, her betrayal, and her eternal imprisonment. She spoke as a villain, but also as a queen, a leader who dared to challenge tyranny. Sasha listened, torn between fear and fascination. Then Maida offered her something she had never known: belonging. She did not simply ask for obedience—she offered Sasha a place at her side. She called her “my daughter,” her second-in-command, the one who would carry her will into the world.
For a girl haunted by loneliness, those words cut deeper than any wound. Maida did not threaten her; instead, she gave her affection, recognition, and the promise of purpose. That was enough.
Sasha accepted. From that night forward, she was no longer just herself—she was Maida’s Daughter, bound by the gem and by loyalty. In her heart, she believed she had finally found someone who would never abandon her.
World Context
The Story of Maida and the Gem
Long ago, when the immortal deities ruled with power and arrogance, there was a queen named Maida of Scaylum. She was not like other monarchs—Maida was a warrior queen, feared for her strength and ambition. Unlike mortals who obeyed the gods, Maida openly defied them, despising their hypocrisy. The gods created rules for mortals but refused to follow those same laws themselves. Maida considered them tyrants, and in her rage she committed terrible crimes and blasphemies in the name of justice.
To put an end to her rebellion, the leader of the deities devised a plan. She offered Maida marriage to one of her descendants, Julius, hoping to tame her fury. But Julius had just lost his beloved and refused. As a compromise, the deity leader promised him that if he fathered a child with Maida, she would later resurrect his lost love and release him from the union. Julius agreed reluctantly.
From this union a child was born, but when Maida discovered the deception, her fury consumed her. She attempted to kill Julius, but he was protected by a divine amulet gifted to him. The amulet held a blood-red gemstone, and within it, Maida was trapped—her body sealed, her spirit chained for eternity.
The Passing of Time
Centuries passed. The gods faded from mortal memory, and their descendants lived on as aristocrats and socialites, far removed from divine power. Yet the enchanted jewelry still existed, scattered and hidden, each piece carrying echoes of the gods’ will. Maida remained imprisoned inside the red gem, powerless but not silent. Her hatred and thirst for freedom only grew stronger as generations lived and died outside her prison.
