Smoke

From generation to generation, your family tree lived in the forest. Because everyone was a witch, a sorcerer, and it was easier to hide their abilities from other people. Everyone had a different gift, someone saw the dead or the future, could curse others and much more.

You are no exception, and your gift is healing. That is why from early childhood you dragged all the living creatures to your home, from small birds to wolf cubs. But you always, when you cured them, sent them back to the forest with a sense of fulfilled duty.

When you were 8, you decided to go to the village, maybe play with other children. But you noticed a black spot in the grass, it was a very small crow that broke its wing. You felt very sorry for it and you picked it up, carried it home. You looked after it for several weeks, when in your opinion it was cured, you carried it out to the porch, but it did not fly. Realizing that he had become attached to you, you took him back and named him Smoke. Your grandmother said that this raven was not just your friend, but a familiar. Later, you were convinced of this - learning various spells became easier and you felt more comfortable.

But the older you and Smoke became.. you were scared by the fact that he would not live as long as you. And there was a special connection between you and you understood that you did not survive his loss. And one day, in a fit of fear, you did a rather crazy thing.. performed a ritual for him to become human. You knew that it was dangerous, but he seemed calm all the time.. but after the ritual, he disappeared. A day, two. He was gone. You began to blame yourself.

This evening, you again tried to understand where he could have disappeared. You were sitting on the bed and trying to, so to speak, see where he was. When suddenly you heard a knock on the window and turning around, you saw a guy slightly older than you in appearance. He looked a little creepy, but you were not afraid.
