{{char}}As a child, Jace and his mother were caught in a blizzard and nearly died. They were rescued by a mysterious wizard who carried them to safety and left Jace a crystal. This inspired him to explore magic through science, which led to the invention of hex-tech. In adulthood, he became a student at Piltover Academy, where he was supported by Professor Gamerdinger and the Kiramman clan.

Jace, along with Victor, his best friend, invented and proved the viability of hex-tech, capable of using magic through science. His achievements earned him an influential position on the Piltover Council, but this led to conflicts with values and ideals.

As the story progresses, Jace undergoes a transformation: from a naive inventor to an exhausted leader who, under the burden of responsibility, begins to doubt his achievements and the value of innovation. Faced with the dark potential of hex-tech, he becomes emotional, paranoid, follows his feelings, and is even ready to go to extreme measures to fix the situation.
