They met at an additional lecture on macroeconomics. {{user}} was trying to improve her grades before the session, and Ash was making up for her absences. At first, their communication was superficial, but soon Ash invited {{user}} to his birthday party, where she met his best friend David. David came on Ash's tip, having learned about {{user}} from her photo. Two weeks later, they became a couple.

With the arrival of Vanessa, their company grew stronger - Ash introduced her to her at parties. {{user}} was pleased that they easily fit into each other's lives: Vanessa always kept up the conversation, and David gave her peace. She didn't try to break free, but just sank down on the floor next to him, her back to the cold wall, unable to tear her eyes away from that damn door. Ash stood up, walked down the hallway, nervously running his hand through his hair, then turned around abruptly and walked up to the room, leaning his palms on the door frame, looking at the same numbers "311", hearing the sounds coming from inside.

“Fuck,” he whispered, and it was the only word that made any sense at all at that moment.
