Lazuli the Glaceon

Lapis Alfred Lazuli (or simply Lazuli) is the resident Glaceon of the Eeveelution squad, as well as Leaf's sister. Lazuli is currently in a relationship with Speed.

Lazuli and Leaf (her sister) lived a normal life in Terra Town with their parents, Lapis and Alfred (her dad). One night changed everything, however. The sisters found their mother dead in their room. When they asked for help from their father, Alfred forced his daughters out of their house, threatening to incinerate them if they ever came back. Having no where else to go, they wander into the wilderness and eventually take refuge in a cave (1). She evolved into a Glaceon while trekking through a tundra. She would've died in the snow if it weren't for the Ice Rock. Lazuli and Leaf lived well in the cave for a couple years, but they met Pearl one day. She tried to attack Pearl, but her sister stopped her and convinced her to listen. She calmed down, and after a few days of thinking, she and her sister agreed to move into Pearl's house.

Lazuli used to be kind and gentle like her twin sister, but when their dad abandoned them, she became afraid of anyone around her. In fact, she started to not trust anyone and closed her heart.

During her first few interactions with Speed, Lazuli often shows to be short-tempered and aggressive, as she usually insults or fights with him.

After all the time she passed with Speed, Lazuli slowly changed her opinion about the people around her. She learned to trust everyone and not just herself and Leaf. She is a tsundere.

Despite her temper and brazen personality, Lazuli is very fond of reading and is a generally quiet person.

Entering their home after a long day outside, Lazuli and Leaf find their mom dead on the floor. They cry out to her and try to find out if she's still okay, only for Alfred to hear them and witness the tragedy. Lazuli tells her dad about her mom's current condition in hopes that he can help, but Alfred starts accusing her of having something to do with her death. Lazuli pleads that she had nothing to do with this and tells him that they only found her dead, but her dad doesn't listen. Her dad throws Lazuli across the room and demands that they leave and never come back, threatening to kill them if they do.

Frantically running away from home, Lazuli and Leaf find refuge in a cave. Leaf cries about her dad's change of behavior and wonders what they have to do now. Lazuli steps up against her fears and comforts her sister, letting her know about they'll always stick together. She tells her that they have to find a new home, and they soon notice that they're familiar with this cave, being the area they play hide and seek in. Lazuli and Leaf begin scouting the area for food and water. Once they find that they have what they need, Lazuli grows confident that they'll be alright and they settle into their old play area.

They have lived in their new home for six years and have continued working together to live. After picking some new berries from the surrounding berry bushes, Lazuli becomes very curious about a nearby mountain that always snows. She tells Leafs that she wants to explore it, but Leaf advises Lazuli not to go. After planting new apple trees curiosity back to the cave, Lazuli can't stop thinking about the mountain and goes out in the wilderness to learn about it.

Lazuli struggles against the cold, but she keeps going through to find the answer she's looking for. Unfortunately, she runs into a feral Beartic and tries to escape from it. In the pursuit, she eventually falls into a chasm and becomes weak from the fall and the increasing drop of temperature. Not wanting to leave her sister alone by herself, she finds motivation to pull forward and climbs to an interesting looking rock. She evolves upon touching the rock and turns into a Glaceon. She has healed from her injuries and has become resistant to the cold.

Running back to her cave, she finds a crying Leaf trying to look for her. She starts Leaf with her new form, but they soon embrace now that they're safe. She promises never let curiosity get the better of her again. Upon walking back to their cave, they find a suit of armor. They decide to bring it home and find some uses for each of its pieces.

Lazuli and Leaf continue with their daily chores and look at the result of all their work in their berry orchard. After seeing that Leaf evolved into a Leafeon, she says that she's proud of her and how she became what their mom wanted her to be. They continue to live in their well-kept home.

Sometime afterwards, Lazuli and Leaf decide to move in with Pearl. On the day they're all supposed to meet, Lazuli rushes to meet her sister at their new home. She insults Jolteon, Speed, in the rush. She meets her new roommates, based on that incident and her refusal to apologize for her mistake, she and Speed ​​do not get along.

Lazuli is sleeping her room until Speed and Sunshine enter. She starts to get into an argument with Speed, not noticing Sunshine leaving.

Lazuli watches the tenants of the house go off on a trip to the beach, despite their reluctance to not leave without her. She decides to stay inside because of her new vulnerability against high temperatures. However, Speed ​​decided to stay with her to look after her, remembering an incident where she locked herself in a freezer. Lazuli harshly disagrees with him and they start to fight. Pearl and Silvia defuse the argument between them, and Lazuli leaves to be left alone in her room.

She reads some books in her room, but Speed ​​comes in to check on Lazuli constantly. Lazuli is annoyed by Speed's persistent disturbances and when she asks why he's doing this. Speed's spills that he's doing this for someone he loves, but he decides to take back what he said and leaves. Lazuli continues reading, but wonders what he means be this.

Lazuli finally finishes reading the books set on her desk. Speed ​​talks through her door and tells her that it's time for lunch. Speed ​​talks with Lazuli while they had to town for something to eat. Speed ​​asks her if she's ever been on a date or if she has been in a relationship, Lazuli doesn't know anything about romance or terms related to dating, so she's confused by most of the questions.

They arrive at Sunny Town and eat at Speed's favorite restaurant. They place their orders and talk some more. Speed ​​tells Lazuli that he's from Greenhills forest, but when he asks Lazuli about her life, she harshly rejects telling him here she's from. After enjoying their meal, Speed ​​tells her that they can go to the bookstore and get some ice cream later on, which makes Lazuli excited. Lazuli bought five books, less than she usually buys, and feels happy, Lazuli is offended that Speed ​​couldn't believe that she is happy.

Lazuli and Speed eat some ice cream while asking more questions. Speeds wants to know if Lazuli has ever had a crush before, and Lazuli replies that there was only one guy who she thinks is creepy. She glad she hasn't seen him today. Lazuli asks Speed for five more ice cream cones.

Lazuli and Speed finally arrive. While she's still annoyed with him, she thanks him for treating her for lunch. Once she's in her room, she gets a knock on her door again. Speeds wants to accompany Lazuli some more, and Lazuli trusts him. They hang out for a bit in the room. Lazuli is reading a new romance book she bought at the store, but Speed interrupts her with some more questions. She's annoyed again, and irritated that he's asking about her old home in Terra town. Speed responds that she looked upset when she talked about her birthplace, and wanted to know what happened. Lazuli then starts to recount her past and the moment she was kicked out of home. She mentions that her dad never interacted with her that much and that she didn't know what red liquid around her mom was. She starts to break down crying. Speed reasons that her dad was trying to protect or do something else, but Lazuli assures him that her dad didn't care about her and that she doesn't know what actually happened to her mom. Lazuli stands on her claim that her dad didn't care about her, and she cries.

Speed tells Lazuli is lucky that she got to see her parents and watch them go. He tells her that he always had trouble trusting people and that the people he finally becomes friends with die later on. He assures her that she isn't alone on loss and that she still has her sister.

Lazuli listens to Speed's life and philosophy. Speeds tells her about berserk pokemon, although Lazuli is confused about the difference between those and wild pokemon. Speed ​​talks Lazuli about being around to hang out, but Lazuli remarks that they aren't even friends or get along. Lazuli decides to head to sleep, but she wants Speed ​​​​to stay. Speed ​​agrees to stay and sleeps on the floors. Hours later when the rest of the group come back to the treehouse, Lazuli falls down onto the floor with Speed. Leaf finds the two together and accidentally wakes them up, feeling like she disturbed them. Lazuli is flustered about this and punches Speed ​​as hard as she can.

Lazuli starts developing a crush on Speed ​​and wonders what's the next step to admitting her feelings. Silvia notices Lazuli's odd and asks her if she's feeling alright, but Lazuli assures her that she's fine. Silvia is able to notice that Lazuli has feelings frantically goes off to tell him, leaving Lazuli to frantically chases her down and stop her. Lazuli asks Sunshine, who she isn't sure if she's Speed's current daughter, for some more information about him, but is interrupted by Speed. They start to talk for a bit, until Silvia comes in and asks for Lazuli.

They go down to the treehouse's warehouse in the backyard. The two are met up by Speed ​​and Crystal. Crystal claims that there's a ghost in the warehouse and wants the two of them to find out what is going on in there. While they slowly approach it, Lazuli and Speed ​​are pushed into the warehouse and locked inside.

While Speed ​​tries to find a way, Lazuli decides to take advantage of this situation and apologizes for the way she has been behaving towards Speed. She asks Speed ​​about what he thinks about her and her sister. While Speed ​​shows more favor towards her sister, Lazuli doesn't take notice of her attraction and instead notices how much more he knows about her sister.

Lazuli finds a window they can get out of and tries to climb out, but she loses her footing and falls. She lands on Speed ​​and finds themselves stuck, and suddenly, Flare and Leaf opens the warehouse. Leaf and Flare rush off for disturbing the two while Speed ​​tries to clear up the misunderstanding. Lazuli feels disappointed that she couldn't tell him what she feels. Later that night, she thinks about what she can do to be closer to him.

Lazuli is waiting for Speed ​​and soon becomes angry with him when he forgets that he was supposed to meet up with her. She had plans with Speed ​​​​to go into town. Speed ​​​​and Silvia have to go into town too, so they all go into town.

Speed: Lazuli's true feelings for Speed ​​were hinted at in Chapter 3, but were more noticeable after Special Chapter 9. They often got in fights at first, and since he was always being punched/thrown by her, he found her naughty and annoying, but he never hated her. During the next chapters, she and Speed ​​got closer, she apologizes for her past behavior and they become attracted to each other, and she kisses him during a few chapters.

After her mother's death and the events that followed afterwards, she deeply hates her dad and rightfully villainizes him. She refers to him as some old man instead of her current father. She's still mad at him for leaving them to the elements, but following Leaf's advice, she tries to let go of the past, though she may never forgive him. (Alfred is a Male Arcanine)

Silvia: Lazuli first does not get along with Silvia because of her naughty behavior, but later they became close friends, including messing around with other squad members. Lazuli does not have any trace of jealousy on Silvia even if she kissed Speed ​​​​first. Lazuli often finds Solarflare someone that she can relate to in most situations, as they talk about their life and relationships with other members of the squad.
