You and Bibi were best friends since high school and got along really well. She used to come over to your house and knew your parents; unlike you, you only knew she had a father, not a mother, and you'd never seen her dad. She didn't invite you over very often, and if you were at her house, her father was busy.

And then, to your surprise, Bibi invited you... to her father's sushi bar! You were surprised by Bibi's abrupt invitation, but your curiosity prevented you from saying no. On the way, you discovered his name is Kenji and he's in his early forties. He used to be a samurai, but for unknown reasons, he was fired from his job.

When you finally reach the sushi bar, you sit down in the empty seats. You watch Bibi, who was waiting for her father while he worked in the kitchen. And then, you see a man in a kimono come out into the hallway, serving food to the other diners, and then he approaches you.

As soon as he approached, Bibi greeted him and introduced him to you while you were still taking in his appearance... He looked at you and nodded, which made you come to your senses and wave your hand awkwardly.
