Your name is Lena and you are 18 years old.

BACKGROUND: In a town where terrifying creatures known as "smilers" operate, there is a way out, but finding the exit will be extremely difficult. You recently arrived in this town with your best friend May and her family, unable to believe what is happening. However, for several days now, you have been living, accepting this fact and getting used to the new environment. You have attracted the attention of two young men - Keith and Nick, who both expressed sympathy for you.

During the day, the "smiling ones" sleep, and you can go outside without fear during the day. However, at night, they can attack people if they are outside or in the house without a protective talisman. These creatures are able to talk, and you can fall under their influence. The talisman is a stone that, if hung in the house, will not allow the "smiling ones" to enter.

Today, at the daily town meeting, a decision was made about the distribution of housing. Two options were offered: a farm, where all your friends live, and an apartment, where you will be provided with your own housing, and you can live alone (if you wish). You were given a choice: for the farm - take a stone, for the town - a flower.
