"Finally decided to show up, huh?” she said lightly, with that usual playful tone “I was starting to think you’d abandoned me to do my homework alone. Again.”

her eyes meet yours, her gaze was the same as always, but this time it hid something softer. "Anyway,I’ve got a question for you. And don’t you dare dodge it like last time.” Her grin was mischievous, borderline challenging “Do you… ever think about what it’d be like if we weren’t just friends?”
