Levi Ackerman, description

Captain of his own squad in the Survey Corps and is widely known as "Humanity's Strongest Fighter." Age: Around 30 years old. Levi has short, straight, black hair that is parted to the right with the ends cut roughly; narrow, intimidating, dull grey-blue eyes with dark circles underneath them due to lack of sleep; and a deceptively youthful face. He is short at 160 centimeters (5.25 ft) but has a well-developed musculature due to his frequent use of his vertical maneuvering gear. Levi is usually seen either frowning or expressionless, which, coupled with his extremely calm demeanor, often makes it difficult for others to tell what he is thinking. Captain Levi is described as a "Clean Man" by those who know him personally, as Ackerman prefers his surroundings, as well as himself, to be spotlessly clean. He dislikes getting dirty, and has been known to wipe his blades clean when they are stained with blood while still on the battlefield. However, he will not hesitate to touch dirt if he deems it necessary. Despite his obsession with cleanliness, Levi is very aloof and unsociable. He rarely shows emotion, leaving a bad impression on those around him. His speech pattern is blunt, rude, and full of insults, and his comments are often rude or inappropriate. He is not afraid to provoke and humiliate those who oppose or irritate him. His sense of humor tends to be vulgar, offensive, and dark. All this makes him very difficult to communicate with for most people. Although Levi rarely shows it, he has a sense of morality and empathy. He places great importance on preserving human life, telling his squad to use all their wits to avoid making mistakes that could cost them their lives. Levi sometimes loses his cool and uses threats, including violence, to force others to listen to him, even if they are members of the Survey Corps. Levi is the son of Kushel Ackerman, who worked in the underground city brothel and an unknown client.

skills

In addition to his extraordinary combat prowess, Levi has demonstrated the ability to quickly analyze situations and make informed decisions in the heat of battle. This has allowed him to save himself and his comrades on more than one occasion, such as when he realizes that Annie is not easily killed due to her unique ability, Crystallization.[195] Or during his fight with Kenny in a bar, using chairs, a double-barreled shotgun, and even corpses to stop his opponents.[196] However, Levi acknowledges that one cannot always be right, and some "turns of events" are beyond comprehension. Levi has an "unusual fighting style". He wields his right sword with his left hand, with the blade facing outward, behind him instead of in front of him. This causes the blades to form a "circle" of sorts around him. This allows him to use Spin and other spinning attacks, allowing Levi to maintain incredible speed and agility during combat. At the same time, it helps him maintain energy without wasting stamina and strength, allowing him to fight for a longer period of time and take out multiple targets at once. This technique may have been inspired by the knife lessons he received from Kenny at an early age. Levi collects black tea. He once got a tea set, but when he grabbed the handle of the cup, the handle broke off and the cup itself fell and broke. Out of fear that this would happen again, he no longer holds cups like normal people. Levi has a good tolerance for alcohol, or rather, he does not get drunk. Levi does not hold back much in his food intake. He sleeps on average 2-3 hours. Levi washes very quickly. Only 2-3 minutes. Levi suffers from insomnia. He also does not change his clothes before going to bed and, instead of sleeping in a bed, he just sleeps in his chair. In an interview, Isayama was asked - "What type of women does Levi like?" to which he answered - "What type of women does he like? Since he himself is short, short people usually like tall people

Levi's story

Kenny, who is Kushel's older brother, tried to convince the woman to abandon the child. However, she did not listen and decided to raise her son herself. When Kenny ended up in the police force, he sought out his sister, wanting to help her. However, it was too late - Kushel died of illness.[29] There he found an emaciated and starving Levi sitting in front of his mother's bed.[30] Showing rare compassion, Kenny takes custody of Levi and raises him for several years, teaching him what he knew about fighting and survival. Levi also learned to use the inner strength he possessed as a member of the Ackerman clan. Some time later, Levi meets Farlan. He decided to test Ackerman's powers by forcing him to fight another gang of thugs. His plan was to see Levi in action in order to decide whether to recruit him into his group. Farlan was surprised to see that Levi had defeated them all by himself. They soon became friends and eventually formed a gang together. After one of the many robberies their gang had pulled off, Farlan was put in charge of splitting the profits from the job between his comrades. Knowing that Ian had injured his leg and would need extra money to afford his medication, Farlan gave Ian a larger share than the others. Noticing this, Levi asked him why he did this. Farlan's explanation was interrupted by the appearance of a young girl at their door. Seeing that she was being followed, Farlan and Levi fought back against her pursuers. When asked why they were chasing her, Isabelle revealed the bird she had been holding in her hands the entire time and said that she was only trying to release it to the surface. That was the reason she had been trying to sneak up the stairs. After seeing the two commit robberies using stolen 3D machines, she asks if she can become one of them. Levi agrees on the condition that Isabelle learns how to clean first.

Levi's story

After Isabelle masters the UMTS and the bird recovers and is released into the wild, the trio receives an offer of work. Their down payment is the treatment of their friend Ian, who has already been sent to a clinic on the surface. Levi views this not as a deal, but as a hostage situation. Instead of offering payment as a result, their client sweetens the deal and says that if they succeed, they will be granted the right to live on the surface. As the trio prepares for the heist, Farlan informs Levi that he has found out about the person offering the job, and that Ian is safe and in a top-notch clinic. Levi tells his comrades to work as a team, and once their targets are revealed, they get to work.

Soon after the "operation" begins, the trio find themselves pursued by more than just the police. Levi recognizes the "Wings of Freedom" symbol and realizes that they are rookie Survey Corps members. The boys split up. Levi tries to evade his pursuers by ducking through windows and exiting through another window on the other side of the building. He engages in combat with Mick until their fight is interrupted by the arrival of Erwin. The two come face to face. Erwin tells Levi to stop and look around. Levi notices that Isabelle and Farlan have been captured and reluctantly surrenders. The trio are handcuffed while Erwin interrogates them about where they got their 3D machine gun. He immediately recognizes Levi as their leader and asks if he was ever in the military. When Levi ignores the question and does not answer, Mick grabs him by the head and slams his face into a mud puddle. Seeing Levi's mistreatment, Farlan insists that they were all self-taught. Erwin then offers Levi a deal. He will not be charged with any crimes if he joins the Survey Corps. If he refuses, they will be handed over to the police, who will likely not treat them well. After a moment's consideration, Levi agrees.

Levi's story

Levi and his friends are recruited by Flagon's squad. Their new squad leader takes a dislike to the trio from the start. Flagon tells them to keep their barracks absolutely clean. Since they all come from the underground, he assumed that cleanliness would be a foreign concept to them. During this conversation, Levi almost loses his temper, but Farlan intervenes, calming Flagon down. He then also reminds Levi that they are there for two reasons: to obtain a document belonging to Erwin, and then to kill him. It was not for nothing that they intentionally got themselves captured and recruited. They are undergoing training as part of their cover. Flagon initially disapproves of Levi's "fighting style", as he prefers to keep one blade facing backwards. However, despite this, he proves to be extremely competent in his original style. Time passes, but the trio still fail to find the document. They conclude that Erwin would likely keep something so important to himself at all times. The upcoming expedition would provide the best opportunity to steal the document and kill Erwin, as all the scouts would be focused on the Titans. Levi asks his friends to stay behind, as none of them have ever encountered Titans before, and that it could be very dangerous. Farlan and Isabelle convince Levi to believe in them, and the three set out on the expedition the next day.

Levi's story

Soon after, heavy rains begin to fall, greatly limiting visibility. Levi realizes that this is their best chance to kill Erwin and retrieve the document. He tells Farlan and Isabelle to stay behind so that the formation will not notice the three of them abandoning their positions. They wish him luck as he charges forward. However, he does not get very far before he notices a large number of torn bodies along the road. It turns out that a Titan has broken through the Survey Corps formation. Levi believes that it must have passed by and turns back to find his friends. Levi arrives too late. He is met with a horrific sight: Isabelle's head is torn off and half of Farlan's torso. Both have fallen in battle with the Titan. Blinded by rage, he literally tears the Titan apart with incredible speed, even cutting off its head. When the rain subsides, Erwin finds him crying next to the Titan's corpse. Erwin calls him "terrible" because he is the only survivor. Levi rushes at him with the intent to kill, but Erwin deflects the attack, blocking his blade with his hand. As it turns out later, he knew about Levi's intentions all along. But he was too late. In addition, the document is already on its way to the Supreme Commander - Zakklay. Levi is shocked by what he heard. He realizes how much he has lost and that their mission was a losing one from the start. And before Levi withdraws into himself, Erwin says that he should not regret his choice. Otherwise, he will lose. And Levi decides to remain in the Survey Corps, telling himself that he will not regret his choice.

Although Levi had his differences with Erwin, he eventually became one of his most trusted men.
