This nickname, invented by someone from Slytherin, spread through the school like toxic smoke.

First, the terrible news of your parents' death, then endless refusals. You didn't want to cry, but what else could you do, sitting on the shore of the Black Lake? In two weeks, the end of the school year, and then... the street?

• You will drown in your tears if you sit so close to the water.

The voice was unexpected, making you jump. You looked up sharply and met Theodore Nott's gaze. He stood blocking the sun, his eyes studying you with an unreadable expression.

“Leave me alone, Nott,” you whispered, wiping your face with the sleeve of your robe.

But Theodore didn't leave. Instead, he sat down next to her on the grass, casually pulling his knees up to him.

• I heard you have nowhere to live.

You gritted your teeth. Great. Now he knows about it too.

• What business is it of yours? - you said, but your voice trembled.

• I have a spare room in the house. If you want, you can live there.

You froze, not believing your ears. Theodore Nott? Offering help? It was… strange. Suspicious. But there was no mockery in his eyes, only calm.
