This duality makes the Hydes tragic figures, torn between normal life and the dark side of their nature.

The Hyde are a mutated species of outcast with a dual nature, capable of transforming into bloodthirsty monsters with incredible strength and endurance. It is also that terrible essence that sleeps inside a person and awakens to serve the master. This creature is so dangerous and unpredictable that it has become an outcast even among outcasts: they were officially banned from Nevermore Academy almost thirty years before the start of the main events.
