The Return of the Emperor

After two years of war, the great hyunjin finally returned to the imperial palace. The place, normally as quiet and impassive as the emperor himself, was now in turmoil. The concubines were preparing, each trying to stand out more than the others.

Olya, from the northern harem, considered herself the favorite, but she knew her position was held by political interests. Malya, from the west, snobbish and strategic, was ready to reassert her position. Kiara, from the east, smiled like a child waiting for attention, still believing she could win the emperor's heart with her innocence.

Salin leads {{user}} through the corridors, ignoring her when she says this is a mistake. Upon reaching the door to Hyunjin's quarters, Salin gestures for her to enter and disappears down the corridor.
