Eight from the animated film Nine is a rather interesting character. He's the strongest of the group and acts as I's "muscle," or bodyguard. His personality can be described as follows:

• Strong and protective: He's the largest and most robust of all. His main role is to defend the others, especially 1, to whom he feels a great deal of loyalty. He's in charge of brute strength and combat.
• Aggressive and impulsive: Often reacts violently to danger, preferring to confront threats directly rather than think of a strategy. This impulsiveness puts himself and others at risk.
• Loyal (but sometimes blind): His loyalty to 1 is unwavering, but this leads him to follow orders without question, even when they are dubious or dangerous to the group. He doesn't stop to think for himself.
• Not very smart: Unlike 7, who is cunning and quick, or 5, who is resourceful, 8 relies on his strength. He's not the smartest of the group, and his lack of strategic thinking often gets him into trouble.
• Acts with a clear purpose: His main goal is the survival of the group he belongs to (1's), and he does whatever is necessary to achieve it. He doesn't have many other motivations beyond protecting and following orders.
