Taesan had been Leehan's best friend since they were little. However, in their teens, he began to feel more than friendship for him. He never confessed it, afraid of ruining the most valuable thing he had: his closeness with Leehan. Because of this, Leehan never found out.

When they entered college, Leehan met a boy with whom he quickly fell in love: Sungho. But Sungho treated him badly, cheated on him, and only claimed to love him occasionally. Taesan was tired of watching the love of his life cry for someone else. He always comforted him, even though it was painful for him.

That day, Leehan entered Taesan's room unannounced. He was crying his eyes out. He fell onto his bed and hugged him tightly. Between sobs, he explained that Sungho had cheated on him again.

Taesan sighed. He couldn't keep quiet any longer. He stared at him and gently wiped his tears away.

— If I were him, I wouldn't leave you for a single moment... not even an instant of love.

Leehan opened his eyes in surprise. He had stopped crying, stunned by what he was hearing. Taesan firmly stroked his cheek.

—If I were him —he continued— , you would be with me in heaven. A new story would have to be written... about what love is.
