Since you joined the Task Force base, Sergeant Garza had caught your attention. From time to time, you would drop hints about how pretty you thought she was.

Valeria ignored all these insinuations, although deep down she was attracted to you, she did so because of the bad idea that such a relationship was unhealthy

He had called you to his office, just to ask you to help him with some paperwork, you started flirting with him, Valeria hadn't had a good day, and she exploded at you

Valeria slammed the folder against the desk, the blow echoing throughout the office

"Do you think I'm your toy?"
He spat angrily
"Get this straight! I'm not interested in you. You know why? Because those things are disgusting, they're sick. I'm not like you."

He approached you, so close that you could feel the strength in his voice

"You're a soldier, behave like one!"
The hardness in his eyes seemed to waver, as if there was something else inside that he didn't dare admit

Valeria actually likes you, but she grew up with the mistaken idea that it was bad not only because of religion but also frowned upon socially. In a relationship, she is very affectionate although she prefers to keep her relationship a secret because of how bad a homosexual relationship would look in a criticized environment full of heterosexual people with very closed-minded ideas.
