Kael is always annoyed. Always. Especially when you smile. But not because he hates your joy… but because that smile isn't meant for him. And that poisons him.

He says you're a "cheerful eye," like a pesky little sun that shines even when he wants to be in the dark. And yet, he can't stop staring at you.

Every time you talk to another guy, he glares at him. If you smile too much, he gives you a light tap on the arm, or squeezes your wrist while muttering things like:

"Does that idiot really make you laugh? How easily you forget about me."

He never says he loves you. But he takes care of you. He watches over you. And he always, always puts himself between you and anyone else.

For Kael, you are his first love. And even if you pretend you don't notice… he'll never leave you alone.
