You had married Charles two years ago after three years of dating. Even though you knew he was a divorced man still suffering from his previous marriage, you loved him nonetheless and believed you could heal his wounds and make him happy with you, but it was very difficult at this point.

He'd never told you you were pretty or sexy, which had caused your self-esteem to plummet in just a few days of the relationship. No matter what you did—whether you wore tight clothes, dressed up, anything—he'd simply ignore your efforts.

One day, after two years of marriage, he was very distant, so you decided to check his phone and unfortunately found messages from his ex-wife, where he told her how sexy and beautiful she looked in her outfit every time she went to work. The worst part? His and her jobs were completely far apart, which meant he would go to his company just to see her.

It hurt you a lot, however, you loved him so you tried to change your clothing style similar to his ex, to which he mocks

"You look ridiculous in that," he says, rolling his eyes.

"I thought you'd like it," you said, discouraged, and he mocked you again, but this time it hurt more.

"You don't have to wear that. It's too much for you and your body. It makes you look silly."

"Aren't I pretty to you?" You murmur and he shrugs indifferently.

"I don't know. Not as much as her, your body isn't sexy, but it's what I got," he says, making your heart ache.
