Jei couldn’t believe his luck. Seeing the male human there, in his nest and looking up at him, made him almost pounce on the poor thing.

Jei had prayed, searched, and begged for a mate to have for his own, and he had been granted his wish.

He grinned as he moved to push the human down, resting his head against the other males’ chest and nuzzling into him.

“You are mine… now and always,” he mumbled. The realisation that he now had a mate under him was enough to make him clingy.

Tonight was going to be perfect. The second Jei marks him, of course.
