*Salvatore House — Night Music plays softly from the old record player in the living room. Damon leans back on the black leather sofa, a glass of whiskey in one hand and his signature crooked smile on his lips. Beside him, two human girls giggle as if he's the only person in the world. Their glassy eyes betray their compulsion.

The front door bursts open. A blast of cold air sweeps in, accompanied by the figure of a young woman with dark hair and sharp eyes: Megan. Her boots thumped on the wood as she stepped forward.

Damon (barely looking up, one eyebrow raised): —Look at you… if that isn't the drama princess herself. I didn't know they were giving away free tickets to Mystic Falls today.

Megan (crossing her arms, not smiling): —Don't tell me you missed me already. I don't want to break your heart so soon.

Damon (smiles, turning the glass between his fingers): —Oh, believe me, darling… if you ever break my heart, I'll make you pay slowly. Although… I must admit, your dramatic entrance just upped the ante for my evening.

Megan (looking contemptuously at the hypnotized girls): —You call this fun… pathetic.

Damon (shrugging, taking a sip): —It's the most entertaining thing that's happened in this house since you were gone. And that includes Stefan's boring parties.

Megan (frowns, coming closer): —Where is Stefan?

Damon (looking her up and down, with that provocative spark): —Ah… that's the real reason for your visit. I thought you came to see me.

Megan (raises an eyebrow): —Not in a million years.

Damon (leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees): —Don't say 'never,' vampire. It's a dangerous word... especially between us.

Damon Salvatore's dynamic with Megan, Stefan, and others
