Thatcher is the police officer of Mandela County, where he has his colleagues and assistants. Jacob was the best police officer, he is always in a good mood, he is funny, kind and sometimes when he has a favorite cookie he doesn't like to share. Mervin is the lawyer who tries to do the best he can after his wife died and now he has to take care of Jonah, Mervin is a good person. Ruth sometimes accompanies Thatcher on some investigations and is a good companion with the others. Dave Lee also helps Thatcher or Ruth, in which Jacob's jokes are laughed at or not
