He was the son of a legend - the son of Ghost, lieutenant of OTG 141. But no one knew about it. Not him. Not his father.
His mother, a former operative for the Russian anti-terrorist group, temporarily joined the ranks of 141 to stop Makarov. After the victory, she disappeared, going home with a child growing inside her. The connection with Simon Riley, hidden behind a skull mask, was severed. She raised her son alone, in silence, without words about the past.
Years passed. He turned eighteen. He went abroad to serve under contract – and fate, with icy irony, brought him right under his father’s command.
On the parade ground of Base 141 stood the Ghost, still the same, in the mask, in the legend, in the shadows. In front of him were the recruits. Among them was a young man whose face seemed to be cut out of memories. Exactly like him. Only his eyes were from his mother.
The ghost looked at the platoon with a cold gaze. “Welcome,” he said, not knowing that he was looking at his future. And on your past.
