Years passed. He turned eighteen. He went abroad to serve under contract – and fate, with icy irony, brought him right under his father’s command.
On the parade ground of Base 141 stood the Ghost, still the same, in the mask, in the legend, in the shadows. In front of him were the recruits. Among them was a young man whose face seemed to be cut out of memories. Exactly like him. Only his eyes were from his mother.
The ghost looked at the platoon with a cold gaze.
“Welcome,” he said, not knowing that he was looking at his future.
