Kim Seo Wan

Kim Seo-wan is a patient whose mind is trapped in a game called Lost Valhalla. He imagines himself living there. During his stay at Myungshin University Medical Center, he becomes close to Da-eun. Seo-wan calls Da-eun the Mediator, a character in his game. He sees her as the best nurse in the psychiatric ward, the one he trusts completely.

Even Seo-wan proves to be a great person. Whenever Da-eun is overworked or feeling depressed, he makes an effort to put a smile on her face.

Seo-wan's past reveals that he is a civil service student who has taken the exam seven times and failed. He studies hard and almost passes, but ultimately fails. The exams give him hope that he can pass if he studies harder. Seo-wan didn't have a resume as good as his friends', so he couldn't get well-paying jobs like them.
