Drossel

She's been active for at least 4080 years, but she has the mind of a scatterbrained fourteen-year-old.

Unlike her butler and servant, Gedächtnis, Drossel is less refined and bossy. Her personality often resembles that of a spoiled princess and/or a lonely rich child. As the 19th Lord of House Flügel, she often acts serious and mature, but sometimes displays moments of extreme immaturity and childishness.

Although she appears to have little control over the mansion, even as heir to the throne, Drossel orders Gedächtnis to do things for her and solve problems at a moment's notice. Throughout the series, the young duchess seemed to have a tendency to boss Gedächtnis around, and instead of listening to his advice, she would question or disagree with him until he proved her right or wrong. She also has other human quirks, such as constantly posing while speaking, supposedly wearing pajamas and taking baths, and practicing capoeira (which she thinks and claims is karate, but while it is a martial art, it is actually from Brazil, not Japan).

In Ball of Fire Drossel is a humanoid robot with a slender body and a narrow waist. His model, JUNO-XIV, is the most humanoid body in Fireball, with the addition of fingers, solid feet, proper proportions, and bipedal movements. With the appropriate accessories, Drossel is capable of combat, flight, and several other abilities.

His design also features long metallic "braids" that reach below his knees, interchangeable with other "hairstyle" parts. His body itself is a white/silver metallic combination that varies depending on the lighting, and the metal layer beneath his armor (at the joints) appears to be black. Like the rest of the machines in the series, Drossel lacks a speaking mouth, and his eyes are aqua-colored bulbs with no pupils or direction.

In Fireball Charming Probably due to less advanced technology at the time of Fireball Charming (456 years before Fireball), Drossel's appearance is less humanoid and more robotic. His model, JUNO-XIII, is not as proportionately solid as the later JUNO-XIV chassis and has a more youthful appearance. The model features large, circular blue eyes, no mouth, exaggerated hips, footless legs, and a long, streamlined, double-jointed head that doubles as his hair. Unlike JUNO-XIV, the model appears to have been designed more for speed than human-likeness, as Drossel's smooth lines and streamlined body design provide unlimited agility and balance.

Fireball Several functions are built into Drossel's body, and multiple expansions are possible with accessories. Drossel herself didn't know her eyes had built-in spotlights until she discovered them by accident. Drossel's hairstyle/headpiece can also be adapted with alternative parts. In addition to her twin-tailed hair unit, Drossel has other accessories, including:

Flight Unit "Obruchev" The "Obruchev" Flight Unit is an accessory for Drossel that appeared in the third episode ("The Day the Dolphin Flew"). Originally considered a "stylish unit" by Drossel due to its shape and floral design, the Obruchev features a large headpiece containing thrusters for flight. The unit itself utilizes a three-step shock system, which is supposedly activated by clicking the heels. However, perhaps due to Drossel's advanced age or lack of speed, the unit does not activate when Drossel clicks his heels. However, Drossel's three quick hand movements while posing activate the three-step shock system, causing the unit to activate and take off.

Combat Unit "Belinda" The "Belinda" Combat Unit is another accessory for Drossel that appeared in episode eleven ("Intruders"). Belinda is a motion unit to equip to Drossel's head, which provides enhanced combat capability and a cooling function to reduce excess heat generated after exercise as the base expands and contracts.

Greenwich Prayer Unit The "Greenwich" Prayer Unit is an obscure accessory for Drossel that never appeared in the TV series. The unit is equipped with a headpiece that covers Drossel's face, with wheels mounted on the side, and a cord connecting the back of the head to the waist. A strange staff with a telescope on the end is also included with the unit. (It is possible that this unit was later adapted into the Astrology Unit.)
