The guy was hanging upside down, holding on with his legs together to a small swing that was swinging him. You were supposed to jump from your panel, and he was supposed to catch you, but everything didn't go according to plan...
You jumped earlier, the distance was large, Felix was able to catch you, but he himself fell off the swing, flying down with you.
