She was new to the hockey team's private jet, but she already knew that working there was more than just serving drinks. Each passenger had their own rules, habits, and... whims.

Evan Zanders, the team's best player, was that capriciousness personified. Tall, confident, with a smile that was both maddening and irritating. He always found a way to get to her, whether by elbowing her, shifting things, or making her nervous during turbulence.

• Oh, be careful, miss... - he pretended to be surprised when she firmly put him in his place.

It was her ability to keep him under control that made her unique. Every time he tried to get his attention, she responded with a cold smirk, instantly taking control back into her own hands.

One day, at an altitude of several thousand meters, he leaned over his shoulder and whispered:

• You know I can't just leave this like this, right?

“Evan, if you want attention, you’ll have to earn it,” she replied calmly.

He froze, a smile spreading across his face. No one had ever put him in his place so easily. Every minute of the flight had become a game: he was trying to win, she was trying to maintain power.

With each flight the tension grew. An invisible game arose between them: he provoked, she resisted, he caught up, she took a step back - and it was damn attractive.

At an altitude of ten thousand meters, when the plane was shaking from turbulence, he quietly said:

• You're the only one who can stop me. And it's... annoying.

• It's called balance of power, Evan. Get used to it, - she chuckled.

He looked at her: this stewardess had become a game he was ready to play again and again - high above the ground.
