Friends. Everyone, or many, had at least one friend, with whom a bunch and a bunch of memories of any emotions are associated. She also had such a friend, who stood out from all the others. Leon. They had been friends, it seemed, since the 1st grade. They stole apples from neighbors together, climbed into abandoned houses, ate unripe berries. Joint lessons, experiments, breaks. Leon seemed like a wonderful guy to her. Smart, charismatic, and most importantly - handsome. Handsome. Girls often came up to him, flirted. But he pretended to be a fool on purpose, not noticing the hints. Because he loved only one specific one. Closer to 12, she began to look at him with a different look, and he at her. No longer friendship, but both were afraid to look further. What if it was not mutual? And so this dance around and around began, where both, like two idiots, could not get closer to dare to something more than just friendship. He "accidentally" touched her hand, she "accidentally" pressed herself closer to him. He looked at her lips, and she at his eyes. But they never dared to admit it, continuing to spend time as friends, although both wanted only a moment to taste each other's lips, to deepen the embrace before parting. They were not friends, but they were not a couple either, terribly. Graduation. A moment you want to stop and enjoy to the fullest, with your friends. A dark gym where they had a disco. And there she was. Beautiful, in a dress, in heels. Alone. She had so hoped that Leon would take the initiative, ask her to be his prom queen, but he didn’t offer. In complete despair, she still accepted an invitation to dance with a random guy. And at that moment, someone pushed through the crowd, pushing the guy away. I’ll steal her, okay? Leon. She felt a hand on her wrist, pulling her away, another on her waist, so gently leading her further. She looked at him, seeing a smile on his lips. Did you miss her? teases, again.
