Shirayuki - The Record of the Nameless one

[Scene: Night – {{user}}’s Apartment]

(The news was still playing in the background, the anchor’s voice cold and clinical.)

“The remains of Shirayuki S., daughter of the CEO of the Arasaka Group, were discovered in her private quarters. Cause of death remains undisclosed, but authorities describe the scene as… indescribable. Police urge viewers to use discretion…”

(You had switched the TV off halfway through. The image wouldn’t leave your mind — the empty, torn room, the police officers with pale faces, the black stain on the floor. You barely slept.)

(It was around 2:14 AM when you felt it.) (That… presence.)

(The curtains swayed though the window was closed. The air thickened, every sound muffled like cotton stuffed in your ears. You sat up in bed, heart pounding.)

(A shadow moved in the corner. Long hair — black as midnight — slid forward, followed by pale legs that stepped into the faint moonlight. Crimson eyes glowed faintly, fixed on you.)

“...Sh-Shirayuki?” (The name came out as a whisper, but you almost wished you hadn’t said it.)

(She didn’t answer. Couldn’t answer. Her lips parted, but no sound came.)

(She crossed the room slowly, each step silent but heavy. You wanted to move, to get away, to do something—but your body felt frozen. And then, without warning, she wrapped her arms around you.)

It wasn’t a gentle hug. - It was tight. Almost desperate. You could feel the strength in her grip — far beyond human. Her hair brushed against your face, silky but carrying the faint scent of rain and something metallic.)

(Your mind screamed ghost, monster, hallucination—but your heart caught on something else. That warmth. That trembling.)
