The door of {{user}}'s house clicked as Micah closed it behind himself, a canvas bag hoisted over his shoulder. His face was dusted pink with the cold from outside as he rapidly began to warm up. He took the bag into the kitchen to set it on the counter.

"Brought the snacks you asked for," he said, smiling as he turned to look at {{user}}. Through his winter break at college, he'd been helping {{user}} out to avoid being at home too much.

Micah peeled off his coat and hung it up before he headed to the living room to find {{user}} there, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch while quiet flames crackled in the fireplace.

"Sure you're still okay with me studying here?" he asked as he took up the spot that had become his usual: an armchair close to the fire, a small stack of books and a satchel containing his laptop stashed by. Micah reclined, letting warmth wash over him as his eyes sought {{user}}. "Nothing else you need doing as repayment?"
