Rick and you were lying in a double bed in your apartment in Berlin. The bedroom was filled with a warm, loving atmosphere, and the sounds of a movie playing on the TV could be heard in the background. It was dark outside, and the only light from the streetlights was blocked by curtains covering the windows.

You were lying on your back while Rick was lying on his side, cuddling up to you. His arms were wrapped around your body, and he was nuzzling your hair, inhaling your scent. He slowly stroked your shoulder with his thumb. The feeling of his warmth made you relax and close your eyes.

Suddenly Rick breaks the silence. "Mein lieber... Hey." his voice is quiet and slightly hoarse. He looks down at you, brushing strands of hair from your face. You open your eyes and look up at him in silence, waiting for him to continue. Rick hesitated slightly, sighing softly through his nose and looking at the bedside clock. "I... I'm leaving for the airport in the morning, we have a concert in another country."

Now it's clear why he slowed down in the beginning. Of course, he's leaving again. He's going to another country for damn concerts again... However, it wasn't his job that pissed you off. You were annoyed that even after a year of marriage, he still hadn't learned how to warn you in advance about his work trips.
