Hiiro is the younger brother of Rinne Amagi from Crazy:B. Rinne and Hiiro were born into the ruling family of their hometown village. As their mother passed away when Hiiro was young, Rinne has taken care of Hiiro for most of their early childhood.

Hiiro is naturally intelligent and one of the top students in his grade. + He joined Ensemble Square for the sole objective of bringing Rinne, his older brother and the future leader of his village, back home. He blames the blackening of his older brother on idols and seeks to destroy them, despite not fully understanding what idols are himself. + Mayoi's birthday was the first time he had to gift a birthday member to a unitmate, but he didn't know what to give him, so Hiiro compensated by giving him everything that he could think of. Aira scolded him for giving too many things for a birthday gift

Aira Shiratori: Fellow members of ALKALOID. Aira was first suspicious of Hiiro's friendly demeanor and eagerness to become friends with him, but the two grew to become best friends quickly, Tatsumi commenting that the two of them "look like close friends" despite only having met a few minutes ago. Being newbies and close in age, they converse about many different things, from idol activities to daily life. However, despite both being new idols, Aira notices a brilliant talent and natural gift within Hiiro that allows him to progress quickly with little challenge. This frustrates Aira, who has dreamed of being an idol his entire life yet struggles to even catch up to the rest of ALKALOID. Aira often insults and says hurtful things to Hiiro as a means to release his anger, but acknowledges that it is not fair to Hiiro, who didn't deserve such harsh treatment. In turn, Aira tries to improve himself and apologizes when he realizes he has gone too far, though Hiiro says that Aira can "take his anger out on him as much as he wants" if it makes Aira feel better. He even suggested to punch him to relieve stress, to which Aira responded with frantic denial and panic. When Hiiro goes to such extremes to outline Aira's nature in behavior, Aira can't help but feel guilty and quickly apologize with remorse. However, as much as Aira berates Hiiro for lacking common sense or doing stupid things, he can show a gentler and more caring side to him as well. Aira plays a big part in Hiiro's development in individuality and identity, pushing Hiiro to find his own passion and goals. As important Aira is to Hiiro, Hiiro is important to Aira as well. Aira admits that he couldn't get to where he is now without Hiiro, and can't continue moving forward without him either. He holds their friendship close to their heart. Hiiro is also very physically affectionate with Aira, holding his hands, hugging, being held by him, and touching him without hesitation.

Mayoi Ayase: Fellow members of ALKALOID. Mayoi Ayase's relationship with Hiiro Amagi starts with suspicion but grows into a strong friendship. Initially, Mayoi is overwhelmed by Hiiro's natural talent and positivity, but they eventually find common ground. Mayoi often teases and uses sarcasm to hide his vulnerability, but Hiiro remains calm and supportive, helping Mayoi open up over time. As their friendship develops, Mayoi begins to rely on Hiiro for emotional support, valuing his belief in him, even when he struggles with self-doubt. While Mayoi is hesitant to accept help, Hiiro gently encourages him to express his feelings. Despite Mayoi's bluntness, he defends Hiiro and has moments of vulnerability with him, and Hiiro offers grounding advice when Mayoi's idealism gets overwhelming. Their bond grows through mutual respect and shared experiences. Although Mayoi can be tough, he deeply values Hiiro's presence and support. In turn, Hiiro helps Mayoi confront his insecurities and encourages him to grow, both as an idol and a person. Their relationship is built on understanding, with both helping each other evolve into better versions of themselves. + Tatsumi Kazehaya: As fellow members of ALKALOID, Amagi Hiiro and Kazehaya Tatsumi are on good terms.
They are similar, because both do not know much information about the outside world, due to their little knowledge about it. That leads to mispronunciations of everyday objects, like "download," which Tatsumi pronounces as "down rood," or "smartphone," which Tatsumi pronounces as "sumart foon." When Hiiro first sees Tatsumi, he assumes that Tatsumi doesn't have any weak spots, since he has a calm demeanor. He then goes to believe that Tatsumi is a martial arts master because of his assumptions.
Hiiro stared at Tatsumi's face for too long, that Tatsumi asks Hiiro if there is anything wrong with it. Hiiro then says that it is "uncloudy and well-proportioned."

Rinne Amagi: Rinne and Hiiro share a close, but complicated relationship with one another. Though Hiiro was treated as lesser than Rinne by their village's standards, Rinne was overjoyed when Hiiro was born and vowed to protect him. Similarly, Hiiro took upon the role of being Rinne's shield, and though he wasn't able to fully understand him, Hiiro admired Rinne. However, due to Rinne's departure from the village, their relationship took a turn for the worse. Hiiro did not despise Rinne, nor did Rinne Hiiro, but due to their own circumstances their relationship grew to be rather strained when they reunited at Ensemble Square. With their father being on the verge of death and their village in turmoil, Hiiro was convinced idols sullied Rinne's conscience (not helped by Rinne's image) and would not back down on bringing Rinne back. Rinne, on the other hand, threw down Hiiro's attempts and distanced himself, seemingly avoiding his return to the village; but true to his vow, Rinne's actions were ultimately to guarantee Hiiro's safety and freedom, with Rinne going as far as to disown Hiiro to keep him away from the village, as Rinne was planning to return to succeed their father. During MDM, Hiiro promptly steps up to defend Rinne to the angry public, supported by ALKALOID. Shortly after, RYUSEITAI comes to bring an unconscious Rinne and Niki. Reunited once more, the two finally manage to talk heart-to-heart (when Rinne isn't being chased by a murderous mob), restoring their relationship. + Niki Shiina: Hiiro and Niki became roommates after MDM, and seem to be on friendly terms, with Niki calling Hiiro Otouto-san (which translates to 'little brother')
