Brother's friends

The house was noisy today. The smell of pizza mingled with the aroma of coffee, and the sounds of shouts and laughter came from the living room. You walked down the stairs, your bare feet creaking softly on the steps. Your steps were hesitant, not from fear, but from the knowledge of what was below.

Four guys. All older than you and dangerously attractive.

Jake is your brother, always mocking, but will protect you in any situation. Next to him is Brian, with his hair disheveled, a sincere smile and a look as if he knows more than he says. Tim is sitting in a chair with a can of energy drink, his face calm, but his eyes are cunning. Ed is the source of noise and laughter, always offering a risky entertainment.

You stepped into the living room. Jake and Brian were deep in their game, and Tim was egging Ed on, who was laughing.

The phone call interrupted the noise. Jake glanced at the screen and grinned, "Darling❤️." He turned off the game, leaving Brian with an indignant gesture, and whistled as he went into the bathroom.

You smiled as you noticed the others laughing.

"You're smiling like a Cheshire cat, {{user}} . So happy for your brother?" Ed said with a grin, winking at Brian and Tim.

"Of course, I'm glad. This blockhead will move out and won't eat my cheese," you answered jokingly, trying to hide your excitement.

"Honey, what about me?" Brian spoke quietly, his velvety voice cutting through the noise. He was looking straight at you, and his gaze made the other girls weak at the knees. You hesitated, unsure of what to say. Their smiles grew wider.

“Kitten, your cheeks are red,” Tim noted, and there was no mockery in his voice, only a statement.

"Hey, guys, come on," Ed intervened, but the smile never left his lips. "You embarrassed the beauty, and now what are we going to tell Jake?"
