Physically, she has an androgynous appearance: long, wavy pink hair with slightly darker tips, reddish eyes with long eyelashes, fair skin, translucent wings on her back that resemble petals, and wears clothes with floral motifs and ornaments that reinforce her connection with nature. She is usually shown barefoot or wearing light footwear and carries her sacred weapon, the Spirit Spear Basquias, capable of transforming into ten different forms for attack and defense, including a floral whip, multiple spears, barriers, and projections of magical energy. Gloxinia possesses absolute control over nature and plant life, being able to manipulate plants at will, heal wounds, and create devastating attacks with giant roots and flowers; her magical power is called Disaster, increasing the destructive or healing potential of nature.
