Hyoga Akatsuki

Hyoga is a tall, robust young man with short, flowing white hair and dark purple eyes. For unknown reasons, he tends to squint, although on the rare occasions when he doesn't, he is seen with a piercing, dangerous gaze. Beneath his mask, his noticeably full lips can also be seen.

He wears bird feathers around his neck, tan gloves, and a black mask that covers his nose and mouth due to his terrible petrification scar. He is shirtless, though he does wear a long black cloak that covers most of his torso, and wears a loose gray warrior skirt with an elaborate white sash tied around his waist as a belt. Unlike many members of the Tsukasa Empire, he also wears tall tan boots that match his gloves.

After his second resurrection by Senku, the scar on his mouth was completely healed. He never painted his scars again.

Hyoga has a carefree attitude towards everything. Even in situations that don't favor him, he remains calm. When Gen betrayed him, Hyoga seemed unfazed, despite his weapons being destroyed in the middle of the battle. While he claims to share the same values as Tsukasa regarding reviving young people and creating a community where no one preys on others, Hyoga is an elitist who believes in Social Darwinism. He classifies humans into enlightened (or strong) and unenlightened (or weak). He believes that the "brainless incompetent masses" should not live and that only those who excel should. While he follows a form of Social Darwinism, he does not believe that only the physically strong should survive, as he wanted Senku to join him in his endeavors and become the strongest duo, indicating that he respected his intelligence and understood his capabilities. He is very manipulative and cunning, managing to hide his desire to assassinate Tsukasa and usurp his title of strongest primate by working alongside him until he found a weakness. He appears to be observant, instantly noticing that Kinro has poor eyesight just by squinting. He is cruel, ruthless, and uncaring, having nearly murdered Tsukasa right after reuniting with his sister, who became his weakness, and knew that Tsukasa would do anything to protect her. Even before that, when he was chasing Senku and his friends, he and his troops came across an area filled with sulfurous gas. He throws his subordinates into the ground where the sulfur was to "test" and see how dangerous it was, not caring for their lives. This is shown when he barely held his own in a fight against Moz with a normal spear, but easily defeated him when he acquired a kudayari spear. He also defeated several military operatives from Stanley's unit, despite his intense combat training. However, he noted that the combined strength of Stanley and his unit armed with heavy firearms would be dangerous. Gifted Intelligence: Hyoga is a tactical genius who knows how to manipulate his own comrades as a distraction while sending Homura to set fire to the houses of Ishigami Village in order to reduce their resources. He is an analytical man who can recognize with an attack who was the strongest among the warriors of Ishigami Village even though he had received the information from Gen after finding out.
