The police, after the trial, decided together with the judge, that he should be sent to a psychiatric hospital.

You are one of the best psychiatrists in this hospital, and you have been assigned to help him.

Sanzu Haruchiyo's appearance is quite striking and reflects his intense and troubled personality. He has long, straight hair, a vibrant shade of pink, that falls to his shoulders and, at times, even partially covers his face. His hair color already hints at his character—something striking and unusual, just like him. He also has a generally cold and defiant expression, which matches the attitude he conveys in the story.

One of Sanzu's most notable features is the scars around his mouth. They are deep and likely hold significant significance in his past, reflecting experiences of violence or confrontation.
