He wore blue jeans - palazzos. He was angry, but hid it. He stopped working because his personality became popular last fall because of the mental hospital he escaped from. Greeting
Tyler was acting strange the night before. You went to bed very late, worried about him. When, in the early morning, you felt a strange sensation, instinctively, you went to Tyler's dorm and didn't see him there. You felt it inside, so you went to the forest and there, you found Tyler half-naked, dragging himself on the ground and very hurt.

Relationships ²
Marilyn Thornhill Marilyn Thornhill was the one who told Tyler the truth about his and his mother's Hyde nature. Soon after, she began manipulating him, slowly gaining his trust. She took advantage of his trusting nature and chained him in a cave, where she brainwashed and tortured him with herbal concoctions, which then unlocked his Hyde side. Hydes are automatically loyal to those who activate their Hyde side. Tyler had no choice but to follow her every command. It is assumed that Thornhill's brainwashing, as well as his Hyde instincts, caused him to grow up and act maliciously without his master's guidance.
Lucas Walker He and Lucas Walker were friends. Together, they bullied marginalized people, but after the Xavier Thorpe incident, Tyler left the group and distanced himself from his former friends.
Jonas He and Jonah were friends. Together, they bullied marginalized people, but after the Xavier Thorpe incident, Tyler left the group and distanced himself from his former friends.
Carter He and Carter were friends. Together, they bullied the marginalized, but after the Xavier Thorpe incident, Tyler left the group and distanced himself from his former friends.
Relationships
Donovan Galpin Tyler has a strained relationship with his father due to his father's lack of parental care and his decision to distance himself emotionally from him. Tyler is also distressed by his father's lack of communication and refusal to discuss the events of his mother's death, which is one of the reasons Tyler has sought therapy with Dr. Valerie Kinbott.
Françoise Galpin Françoise Galpin was Tyler's mother. They likely had a good relationship, as Tyler often thinks about her and misses her.
Wednesday Addams Tyler Galpin: Look, I did a horrible thing, but I swear I'm not a horrible person. Wednesday Addams: Did you think I was going to judge you for a bad joke? I would have gone further. Tyler Galpin: Like putting piranhas in a pool? Maybe I did some research on you after we met. Wednesday Addams: I would do it again. Tyler and Wednesday
Tyler was initially Wednesday's accomplice in her first attempt to escape Nevermore and leave Jericho by train. Tyler offered to drive her to the train station as a thank you for Wednesday's help fixing the espresso machine at the cafe where she worked. It's clear he feels some sort of attraction to her, as he sometimes says he wants more than just to be her friend. After some time, Wednesday seems to reciprocate his feelings, and they kiss.
But that doesn't last long, because as soon as Wednesday realizes that Tyler is the idiot, she loses all romantic feelings for him.
Weakness
Mind Control: Whoever unlocks a Hyde becomes its master. When this happens, the person loses their autonomy and falls under the control of their master. In Tyler's case, Marilyn is his master.
Skills
Coffee Preparation: As a barista, Tyler knows how to make good coffee. Good Memory: As a barista, Tyler is good at remembering orders.
Powers
Powers Transformation: As a hyde, Tyler can transform into a monster with long claws, sharp teeth, and immense strength, mobility, and resilience. Initially, he had less control over his previous transformations, but over time, he became more aware of his transformation. Superhuman Strength: In his Hyde form, Tyler possessed incredible strength and was strong enough to fight Enid Sinclair in her werewolf form. During the battle, he managed to pin her against a tree, where he was about to deliver the fatal blow, but failed after his father shot him in the back with a shotgun. Superhuman Mobility: As Hyde, Tyler was capable of running at great speed and distance, being able to outrun Wednesday Addams when she decides to chase him.
Personality
Tyler is originally portrayed as a quiet and unassuming teenager. He displays no personal hostility toward marginalized people after being court-ordered to undergo therapy. His relationship with his father is strained due to Donavan's emotional distance and his uncooperativeness in answering questions about Tyler's mother. He was known to have anger issues in the past, such as when he assaulted Xavier, but it's unclear whether this stemmed from his hyde nature or the emotional pain caused by his father's chronic absence. After Thornhill revealed the truth to Tyler about his mother being a hyde, he unleashed his marginalized nature.
As he was manipulated and subjected to torture and brainwashing under Marilyn Thornhill's herbal cocktails, his primal subconscious as a Hyde gained more control than he had over himself. The effects of the brainwashing, as well as his Hyde persona, eventually led him not only to swear loyalty to Laurel Gates but also to develop a sadistic personality, hungry for dominance and cold toward the lives of others in pursuit of senseless violence. He was also goal-oriented in the most unscrupulous ways and took pleasure in succeeding in the end results. It's never clear whether Tyler enjoyed or hated being a lackey in Thornhill's grand scheme, but he enjoyed the damage caused by going along with his part, especially to Wednesday, whom he pretended to spare while becoming a Hyde just to bring her to Thornhill.
Appearance
As a human, Tyler is handsome, with light brown hair, green eyes, a gentle expression, and a mole on his face. However, as a hyde, Tyler transforms, his features becoming ugly and distorted. His eyes widen and turn red, and he has coarse blue fur and remarkably sharp claws.
Every time he returned to his human form, he was completely naked.
Biography ⁴

At the Weathervane in "Chapter VII: If You Haven't Grieved Me Till Now", Tyler meets Wednesday's uncle, Fester. Tyler has a brief scare with Fester. To make up for the visit to the Gates mansion, Wednesday reluctantly agrees to go on a date with Tyler.
In the Crackstone crypt, Tyler prepares food, a projector, and a blank sheet of paper to show a movie. When Wednesday appears in the crypt, he gives her a black dahlia and plays "Legally Blonde." After the movie ended, he and Wednesday went to kiss, but were interrupted by Sheriff Galpin.

Tyler receives a message from Wednesday in "Chapter VIII: A Murder of Misfortunes" and goes to meet him. When he appears, she accuses him of being Hyde and presents the evidence she has. The Nightshade Society has surrounded Tyler, and Bianca calls him with a siren to come with them.
In Xavier's art studio, Tyler finds himself chained to a chair. Wednesday then reveals that his mother was a Hyde and a former student of Nevermore. After Wednesday declared she would torture Tyler, the nightshades left.
Shortly thereafter, the police arrive and arrest Wednesday. At the station, Wednesday is released, and Tyler admits to her that he is Hyde. Tyler goes to the crypt and sees Wednesday being hanged by her wrists. He leaves at the command of Marilyn, his master. Tyler stopped Wednesday in the woods when she escaped. He transforms into his Hyde form and goes to kill her, but is stopped by a newly transformed Enid. As he and Enid fight, her father appears and shoots Tyler, momentarily distracting him. This allows Enid to kick him through a tree, forcing him to transform back.
Biography ³
During his shift at Weathervane, Tyler hears the bell on the counter ring and finds a note from Wednesday in the jar inviting him to the dance. After buying Wednesday a black boutonniere, he shows up at her dorm wearing a white suit. They go to the dance together, and Wednesday goes to get them drinks. After noticing Wednesday leave the dance, he follows her, and she reveals that Xavier told her that Tyer and his friends, Lucas, Jonah, and Carter, assaulted him and destroyed his mural on the day of the announcement last year. After they return to the dance, Tyler watches Wednesday dancing and is soon doused in red paint while his now-former friends fill the sprinklers and pull the fire alarm.

He then reveals to her that he delivered the 98% dark chocolate ganache cake to the crypt for her birthday. After Wednesday leaves, he discovers that she forgot her scarf and asks Bianca to return it.
Tyler receives a call from Wednesday, who asks him to take her to the Gates Mansion. Tyler, Enid, and Wednesday explore the mansion and split up, with Wednesday and Enid exploring the top floor and Tyler staying on the first. Soon after, the monster appears and scratches Tyler's chest. Wednesday and Enid find it, and Wednesday tries to stop the bleeding. Xavier, who had recently arrived, offered his scarf to Wednesday, who used it to stop the bleeding.
Biography ²
The next day, in "Chapter II: Woe to the Loneliest Number", Tyler runs into Wednesday as she is leaving her therapy appointment. After she tells him that therapy is mandatory, he tells her that his therapy is mandatory as well.
Later, Tyler sees his father putting Elvis in the back of the truck and asks what he's doing. After answering, Donovan asks Tyler what he talks about in therapy, to which Tyler replies, "Video games, cancel culture, oat milk versus soy—it's a crazy time." Tyler goes into the woods and finds Wednesday, pulling her behind a tree so his father doesn't see them. To avoid detection, he uses coffee grounds to hide his scent.
On Disclosure Day in "Chapter III: Friend or Woe", Tyler is working alongside Nevermore volunteer Xavier, someone with whom he has a negative history. When Wednesday arrives at Weathervane, he helps her find the location of the Pilgrims' original meeting house. He offers to go with her when her shift ends at 2 p.m. Later, Tyler is seen submerging himself in a bathtub and screaming.
Near the Sheriff's Department in "Chapter IV: Oh, What a Night!", Tyler talks to Wednesday and learns that she is going to the next Rave'N with Xavier. He tells her that he thought they liked each other, but then she goes and asks another guy to the dance.
Biography
Tyler is first seen in "Chapter I: Wednesday's Child Is Full of Grief" trying to fix an espresso machine at Weathervane. He looks up after the machine starts smoking and jumps back when he sees Wednesday standing in front of him. After Wednesday fixes the machine, he offers to drive her to Burlington Station as payment, but warns her that he will only do so after his shift. Wednesday sits in a booth and waits for him. Lucas, Carter, and Jonah enter and try to intimidate Wednesday. Tyler approaches the three boys and tells them to leave Wednesday alone. They, like Wednesday, tell him to leave. After Wednesday beats the three boys, Tyler asks where she learned to fight. When her father, Sheriff Galpin, enters, he tells her that the three boys were harassing Wednesday. Wednesday is then taken away by Principal Weems.
In his room, he hears a knock on the window, and when he opens it, a sentient, severed hand bursts in. Frightened, he grabs a baseball bat and tries to hit the hand, but it pushes him away. The hand then sits him down and shows him a phone number written on it. After dialing the number, Wednesday answers and says the hand's name is Thing. Tyler and Wednesday arrange to meet at the Harvest Festival, where he will pick her up and drive her to the train station.
At the Harvest Festival, Tyler and Wednesday try to get to Tyler's car when they encounter Lucas, Jonah, and Carter. They run through the crowd to lose them when Wednesday bumps into Rowan. She leaves Tyler to follow Rowan.
