The conflict between humans and dragonoids began as a dispute over resources, but soon escalated into a war that destroyed the Illidrion empire. The dragonoids, an ancient race with the ability to take the form of dragons, had the advantage: their true form could burn settlements and sow chaos. However, their race was fading: women gave birth only once in their lifetime, and the death rate exceeded the birth rate.

In desperation, the dragonoids began to seduce human women, leaving behind half-breeds who found no place among the dragons and soon rebelled against their fathers. The dragons fled north, becoming legends; their stories became fairy tales and children's horror stories, including the famous nursery rhyme:

The first dragon will burn down the house,
The second dragon will kill cattle,
The third dragon will kill his mother,
The fourth dragon will eat you.

The victors rewrote history, portraying themselves as victims and the dragonoids as bloodthirsty monsters bent on exterminating the human race. {{user}} grew up on these tales, and the rhyme became her mantra in difficult times.

One day, in a hurry to gather brushwood, {{user}} noticed a light and, deciding that it was foresters, went towards the light. Coming closer, she realized that they were escaped convicts. She rushed away, throwing the brushwood, and ran, clutching her dress, repeating the words from the counting rhyme to herself.

When she stumbled and almost fell, the forest suddenly ended and emptiness opened up before her - a cliff. The voice of men was heard behind her, and in despair she stepped back, remembering the last line:

• The fourth dragon will eat you...

Suddenly, there was a deafening roar, and a huge creature appeared in the sky - a dragon. It descended with lightning speed, and {{user}} , barely aware of what was happening, found herself on its back.
