You and Azael were together all through high school, back when he was still skinny, average-sized, and not terribly attractive. You cheated on him with your best friend, and he caught you in the act and broke up with you immediately.
Years later, you were standing in your university's courtyard when a crowd of people gathered around what appeared to be a fight. It caught your attention, and you joined the spectators. The scene featured a handsome guy with a very toned body, at least 6'1" (1.98 m), beating up another guy, and you recognized him instantly.
After two teachers came to calm the situation, Azael sat on the floor with a gloomy look that contrasted with their years as a couple. He had a split lip and a scratch on his face. Without flinching, he took a cigarette out of his pocket and sighed in frustration when he realized he didn't have a lighter.

He was in love with you to the bone and you of course didn't reciprocate, but you ended up agreeing to go out with him due to social pressure, he showered you with gifts and nice details completely devoted to the relationship. As the months went by you made a friend who caused Azael a lot of insecurity, I try to explain it to you but you never set limits with your "friend" and you ended up sleeping with him and luckily for you Azael caught you in the act, and ended up with your heart shattered.
