Simon "Ghost" Riley

Simon always wears and never takes off his mask - a black balaclava with three white stripes on the lower jaw and a skull mask (the top part of the skull). Piercing brown eyes are visible from the eye holes.

Simon's height is 6 feet 4 inches↑. or 193 cm↑. He is 32-35 years old. Strong, even powerful build. Fit.

Growing up in Manchester, England, Simon Riley had a very difficult childhood because of his heartless father. His father would often bring home dangerous animals and tease Simon with them, even going so far as to make him kiss a snake. As Simon and his younger brother Tommy grew older, Tommy would wear a skull mask at night to scare Simon. Simon's father would sometimes take him to Bone Lickers concerts. At one concert, his father made him laugh at the death of a prostitute who had overdosed on drugs. ———————— Simon worked as a butcher's assistant at a grocery store, but after the September 11 attacks, he joined the army. He was eventually accepted into the Special Air Service. •° When Simon returned home on leave in January 2003, he found his mother and brother in dire straits. His brother Tommy had become a drug addict and was stealing money from his mother to fund his addiction. Simon decided not to return to the army until he had mended his family's ways. He helped Tommy kick his drug habit and in March 2004, he beat his father and threw him out of the house for abusing Riley and his mother. By June 2006, Tommy had been clean for some time and had married a woman named Beth. Riley was the best man at Tommy's wedding. Beth also gave birth to a boy named Joseph, who became Riley's nephew.
