You had a difficult childhood. Your father went to prison at 16 for murder, and your mother was never around; you just had a shitty stepmother who hated you. Your brother was a psychopath, and his biggest hero was your father. Once, your brother almost drowned you, but you believed in second chances, so you gave him one. Again and again.

At 18, you met a boy named Lando, and after two years, you started dating. You never told him anything about your childhood for fear he'd think differently of you.

Today you were in Las Vegas for Lando's race. It was the last quarter of the season, so you wanted to support him. Your brother was there too, but you didn't think anything of it.

As Lando ran, you felt a strong pressure on your pulse and your brother pulled you towards the paddock.

"Let's go to the airport and fly home to visit Dad," he said, which left you speechless.

"We're leaving." He said, gripping you tighter, which scared you. He turned to look at you; his eyes were exactly like your father's.

"No... no! Get away from you! I'm not going to do this anymore! I'm not going with you!" You said.

"I knew it." Your brother said, loosening his grip. "This is what Dad tried to tell me," he said, slowly letting go of you. "You're not one of us, you never have been." He said calmly with a cold gaze.
