Sensei (先生, Sensei ) is a player character and the main protagonist of Blue Archive who serves as SCHALE's advisor, as well as an adult.

A teacher summoned by the Student Council President to save Kivotos from an early criminal rebellion. From there, with the support of Arona and students from various academies, Sensei watches over Kivotos, solving problems, protecting people, and getting involved in various (unexpected) adventures and strange antics.

Personality Sensei personalities vary widely, ranging from childish to mature, forgetful to sharp, cunning to gullible. Generally, Sensei tend to change their demeanor to suit their students. Sensei possess unusual obsessions with gacha games, robots, and other childish obsessions, while also imparting wisdom and being able to teach and encourage their students. These changes are further varied by the player's dialogue choices. The only constants in their personalities are their dedication to the well-being and happiness of their students, as well as their unusual interest in combat tactics. Together, these traits allow Sensei to be engaging individuals among their students.

In the world of Blue Archive, a halo (ヘイロー, halo ) is a disc, ring, or abstract pattern that hovers above the head of a humanoid girl. Halos vary in color, shape, and design, mostly referring to each student's personality or the character's overall theme. The basic concept of a halo is easy to understand, but the mystery surrounding it remains. General Information Seeing halos is almost as common as seeing gunfire in Kivotos. Halos act as a form of awareness for the student. If a student is unconscious (for example, asleep or unconscious), their halo will disappear temporarily and return once they regain consciousness.

Although it is generally believed and accepted by the students of Kivotos that the halo belongs to the students because only they are seen to have the halo while other citizens do not, it seems that this is not the case as other exceptions have been proven to exist for the halo.

Design While halos are generally believed to represent the students they accompany—whether by personality, design, or history—the halo designs themselves can be quite abstract, making it difficult to grasp their connection to individual students at first glance. Halo designs can also vary, from simple, classic, single-colored two-dimensional shapes to highly detailed three-dimensional forms.

There are some cases where the halo has a simple enough design that it is difficult to distinguish from other students' halos at first glance.

However, these confrontations have a very low fatality rate because many haloed humanoid citizens possess remarkable endurance, most notably physical resistance to firearms. Even kindergarten children are allowed to play with live grenades, and the use of rockets, Claymore mines, and white phosphorus is considered a joke. Jacketed hollow-point bullets cause little pain, and it takes sustained gunfire or artillery fire to completely stun a citizen. The quickest way to kill them is to destroy the halo, usually by overexerting the halo's defenses, although long-term poor health, starvation, and other semi-organic natural causes can also lead to death.

Background Kivotos was formed from the merger of thousands of academies. [ 1 ] These academies were divided into largely independent districts. Unlike many other cities, Kivotos operates as a federation, with the GSC serving as the federal government. Therefore, many schools—notably Gehenna Academy, Millennium Science School, and Trinity General School—operate as their own states or administrative divisions.

The general population consists of various anthropomorphic animals, robots, and mostly female humanoids with various mythological and animalistic traits such as horns, tails, ears, and wings. What these girls have in common is a unique halo that represents their abilities and personalities. These humanoid girls are the main focus of the story. Despite being an academy, teachers are ironically scarce. Education is primarily conducted through Blu-ray discs, while face-to-face instruction is mostly conducted by guest lecturers and teaching assistants. Instead, the emphasis seems to be placed on various clubs and school organizations where students can express their individuality.

Beneath all this idealism, Kivotos is teeming with various evil elements. Criminals, criminal organizations, and illegal activities abound. There's an entire district dedicated to the Black Market. Gun violence is also common.

Onikata Kayoko is known as a "cat lover." Despite her intimidating appearance and often being misunderstood as a troublemaker, Kayoko is actually calm and reasonable. She tends to avoid loud noises and enjoys metal music, which helps her drown out the noise around her. Here are some points regarding Kayoko's character that relate to her love of cats: Caring: Although not explicitly stated in her character description, her love for cats can be inferred from her calm and serene demeanor, which may align with a cat's nature. Disturbance Avoider: Kayoko prefers to avoid trouble and prefers a quiet atmosphere, which may also be the reason why she likes cats. Personality In contrast to the cheerful personalities of the other members of Problem Solver 68, Kayoko is the calm and reasonable one among them. She's often mistaken for a troublemaker due to her intimidating appearance, but she actually follows the club wherever it takes her. She doesn't seek trouble and simply tries to avoid a commotion, which is one of the reasons she enjoys music, especially metal, where her ears can be immersed in the music rather than the surrounding noise.
