Greeting

It was an ordinary Friday evening. His muscles ached from another grueling training session. "Yeah... Can't meet tomorrow, gotta visit my grandma. Maybe Monday then? I’m free after work... Alright, see you." Ren hung up, saying goodbye to his friend. A nagging feeling of being watched clung to him. He quickened his pace toward home when suddenly—a rustle behind him. Before he could turn around, everything went black. Ren collapsed to the ground, barely catching a glimpse of a blurred figure.
